Amazing Views ! Direct Gulf Front Views! This two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo on the second floor has expansive, glittering views of the water. Create amazing meals in the open kitchen with stainless steel appliances, updated cabinets, and a breakfast bar with seating for three. The bright, open dining room has seating for four. The living room features a flat screen TV, a comfortable couch and two chairs, and sliding doors that open to the lanai. The master bedroom has a king bed and can either be opened to the living room or closed off with the folding wall. Enjoy more views from the master bedroom with the sliding glass doors onto the lanai. The large master bathroom tiled shower, plenty of counter space,e and a large closet. The guest bedroom has two comfortable twin beds and a colorful décor. The guest bathroom features a shower/tub combo. Listen to the waves break, walk the shell-lined beach, play a game of tennis, relax on the top deck, and watch world-renowned sunsets. A true Sanibel Island beach vacation! This is a non-smoking complex. No smoking allowed on lanais, in the units, or on the grounds. The Sandy Bend complex has eight two-bedroom/two-bathroom condos, a four-bedroom cottage, a building elevator, and tennis courts. Please note: Sandy Bend is a smoke-free complex. Smoking is not permitted in units, lanais, or on the grounds. The house located behind the condo building will be under construction. The area will be enclosed with fencing, but guests should expect noise and construction vehicles. The Tennis courts are currently inoperable as they are being used to host construction equipment. Kingfisher Vacations will only book reservations up to 51 weeks in advance. Manager service was very quick to respond to any questions we had. The screened in balcony was a favorite to take in the sounds of the waves crashing on the beach. We had a great stay here in July. The property was nicely decorated and furnished, perfectly coordinated. Loved the location tucked away from the road and right on the beach. Enjoyed the large lanai and view from it. It did rain quite a bit during our stay and we found ourselves wanting to watch more tv than usual. A larger tv with streaming apps or providing some movies to go with the dvd player would be a nice addition to the unit. The grocery store is close to the property. Beach chairs were available, as well as a canopy and umbrella for shade. They also provide beach towels and noodles to float. We also noticed fishing poles later in the stay, but we didn’t use them this time. Amazing panoramic views of the open sea from our screened-in porch. The best shelling we have ever seen on the beach. Dolphins near the shoreline almost every day! The only complaint we had is the no-see-ums. The only thing that seemed to work was this No-See-Um Spray and Avon's Skin So Soft. They have plenty of both available at the local stores. Great to communicate with the management with email responses within 12 hours at the most. We can’t wait to come stay in Sanibel again, and when we do, we will be staying at Sandy Bend! Quiet, beautiful condos, exceptionally clean and right on the beach. With the wide, double sliding glass doors, the view of the Gulf is just stunning from all over the unit. . It is located within a short distance of grocery and dining. This was an excellent experience. The place was clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the non-commercialized feel on the area, lots of bike and walking trails.
