Overall, this property was good. It accommodated our group of 11 well as far as size. The bed layout was not ideal for our group as we didn't realize the beds were only Full not Queen (except for the master). The master was roomy but being on the 2nd floor was not easy for 70+ year old grandparents to maneuver up and down. The bathroom was nice, but the hot water broke the day we got there so they had to shower in other rooms for a night or 2. They did remedy the problem with 2 days. The location was excellent however, literally steps from the Camp Watercolor pools which we used daily. Not a very far bike ride to the beach, Publix, or the boathouse 5-6 mins or so. The bikes however were a major issue. They are property of the house and not rented out through the bike agency there so since 4 of them were not ridable (gooey handles, rusty tire, rusty frame and chains, flat tires), we had to go rent more bikes to accommodate us (which was not cheap when you're staying a week). Another issue was that although the golf cart had been advertised as an add on, it wasn't until we had already booked the property that they told us it actually wasn't available. This was annoying since we had elderly grands with us and a nephew who was recovering from surgery. To add to the frustration, the very nice golf cart was parked in one of the very limited parking spots at the house. We couldn't move it since it was locked and covered. There was only enough space for maybe 3 cars if you played tetris but with the golf cart taking up one it made a few family members have to park really far away. It was also difficult to get property management to give us more than 2 parking passes, which they never did do. There were a couple maintenance issues that will need to be fixed before renting, a big hole in the flooring outside of the carriage house, wobbly barstools, and most of the locks on the exterior doors will randomly lock you out/not open. The grill was nice to have, and we used it quite a bit. Also, the carriage house was a blessing to get away from noise. So, overall, we did enjoy our stay. Most of the issues we could overlook because we were just happy to be with each other. I would say that if the issues mentioned were resolved, I would recommend this house.
