I stayed at this hotel on business for two days. There aren't a lot of choices for this area, but I figured I couldn't go wrong with the Holiday Inn. My room was clean and comfortable. The only thing I wasn't really fond of was the fitness center. It's a tight space --clearly a former room. The cardio equipment was crammed in there and the weight machines didn't work. I'm grateful I was able to get in a little cardio. That's about it though. If I had to, I'd stay here again.

Very central location. However, Broughton St. seems to be going through transition. Plenty of open/under construction retail takes away from the southern charm you might expect from Savannah. The hotel/B&B is very cool. Staff was very welcoming and courteous. Rooms are a bit small, but it is to be expected in a southern B&B. Overall a great experience.

The stay at the hotel was awesome. The staff was awesome. The room was nice. The only issue I had was the bed was a little too hard for me but other it was great. The complimentary breakfast in the morning and the wine and cheese in the evening was a plus. We loved it.

My party and I came in very late around 10:30pm. We were on the first floor. Our room didn't have a remote control for the TV. I walked to the service desk to tell the clerk the remote was missing. He found a remote in the cabinet behind the desk and escorted me back to the room. He insisted on the fact that the remote was somewhere in the room. He turned the TV on and left. I have stayed at this hotel before and I would stay again.

We stayed here on a last minute trip. The hotel is on the water but it is a little out of the way of all Savannah Historic action. The room was very comfy, however, there was supposed to be a rollaway bed sent to our room and when we got back to our room 4 hours later there was no rollaway bed. I called the front desk and they said sorry we have given out all of our rollaways. I was. Rey upset and had to wait 20 minutes to speak with a manager that comped our breakfast and said we would have Extra blankets and pillows sent up. Another phone call and 1 1/2 hours later we finally got the blankets that my daughter had to use to make a pallet on the floor! The full hot breakfast was good though, but still not worth all the trouble we had to go through.

Very clean hotel, no parking so you MUST valet car at $22 a day. That fee should be added to the price listed on Expedia, because you literally have no other choice. It's valet or get towed. Receptionist honestly couldn't be any sweeter. She knew my kids names after meeting them upon check in and was very knowledge about the area. Helped us find a nice family oriented restaurant with a great view. Waitress in restaurant extremely nice and accommodating, lady replenishing buffet food was extremely rude. She barked "you need to close the food warmer and put the spoon back where You found it." Showed her my plate and I didn't have any of the food from that warmer. Never said sorry, just "well yeah." I would return to this hotel and recommend it to my friends.

The front desk agent who greeted us was super friendly and gave us some solid restaurant recommendations. The room, while small was certainly comfortable and the bathroom was clean and modern. While we were actually under the restaurant on the 4th floor, because it was a Sunday night, they closed at 10pm so the noise was never a problem.
