Great if you want to walk to your destinations!

Posted Apr 10, 2017
Overall, it was nice except for traffic noise in the rooms fronting Bay St and the beds were a little too hard for my liking.

A bit tired motel feel

Posted Apr 2, 2017
Pros: Staff and location
Cons: Spiff up the exterior and replace the chairs in the room
Location: Right on Bay Street in the heart of the shopping and restaurant district of old Savannah. River Street is steps away.
This lodging is a mixed bag. On the plus side the staff was excellent, the price is low and the location cannot be beat. The breakfast was better than expected. On the negative side the exterior has a tired old motel look, it is on a busy street with major construction nearby and the chairs in the room were badly stained. Other than the stained chairs, the room was clean. If price is important, I would recommend this place. If you want someplace in tip-top shape and are willing to pay two or three times as much, you should look elsewhere.

Location is close to City Market

Posted Mar 29, 2017
The staff was excellent. The rooms have bad odor. The odor was strong as soon as door was open. Manager immediately put us in another room. It was ok until moisture from showering made carpet stink. The carpets need to be removed and chairs looked dirty. Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly and very accommodating. NO reflection on any of them!! Could be a nice place to stay.

Not a fancy Motel, but who stays in the room.

Posted Mar 26, 2017
Pros: Great price and great location. Not a fancy Motel, which did not want as do not stay all day in room, only slep there.
Cons: Need a little updating here and there.
Location: great location. City Market just around corner. All sites in walking distance.
Had a wonderful great time in Savannah. Would tell everyone should come and visit.

Very low budget hotel

Very low budget, staff were nice. Facilities very poor grade, only 6 tables at breakfast and bathroom in the same dining room. Just terrible!!

Great Location but that's all!

Posted Mar 14, 2017
Pros: Location and nothing else.
Cons: Everything but the location; especially the staff. The hotel needs to be renovated. The websites should reflect the increase in the parking fees.
Location: Two blocks from the Savannah river front. Perfect location.
The hotel website states free parking; Expedia shows $15/night but they charge $19/night. They say it's Expedia's problem and not theirs.

The room seems a little smaller than the pictures shows on website. It also has some odor not smelling good. But the location is very close to River Street, easy to walk on the historic area.
