The staff was very friendly at the hotel. Valet was attentive and Becky at the help desk was very knowledgeable . The public areas, the pool (to include the pool bar) were very nice. The rooms could use some updating. The latch on our balcony door was broken. The room was a let down in terms of cleanliness. Otherwise, nice stay.

Everything was beautiful including the staff. Becky at the concierge was so personable and friendly. She was definitely a nice lady to meet. You will love this property and the location. Parking is not free except on Friday after 5:00 PM through Monday morning until 8:00 AM. You can pay to valet park.

Beautiful location with plenty of walkable dining options. Staff were excellent. The room was comfortable; however, there was no mini fridge in the room, and the ice machine on our floor was out of service. Those were our ONLY two complaints. It is a beautiful historic building that feels very special. Highly recommend the DeSoto.

Gorgeous hotel with great location. We were able to walk almost everywhere. Our room was clean and the hotel was quiet at night. Valet service was quick and easy!

Loved the property and I will return. Would have given a 5 start but two small areas of attention to detail. #1 The hallway on the 3rd floor was dimly lit. Just didn’t feel safe, very uncommon and should be adjusted immediately. I’m thinking this is a cost savings measure. #2 Room 318 was a little weird because the room door actually swung “out” into the hallway. So odd and upon observation it was the only room door I could see that operated that way. The room was great inside, but the door gave me janitor closet vibes.
