Great Weekend Up North
The place was great. It had all of the basics and an amazing view. Listened to the surf crash on the rocks while we slept. The sauna was great and we were very close to hiking, dining, and the Fall colors.

Hard to leave!
My 2 sisters and I stayed here for 2 nights and were so sad when it was time to leave. Being right on the lake was amazing. It was too cold to swim but we spent a lot of time in the huge rocks outside enjoying the view. It was very quiet and peaceful. The location allowed us to explore the North Shore. There isn’t much in Schroeder so you do have to plan ahead if you’d like to go out to eat. The closest restaurant required reservations. The small kitchenette had everything you might need if you do want to make something simple. We ate breakfast in the studio and then spent the day exploring other parts of the north shore. The studio had plenty of space for the three of us, we didn’t feel cramped or on top of each other. The way the studio is designed and set-up is very tastefully done and every inch is useful. Check in was easy. Loved it!

Beautiful Location
The cabin is small but well-equipped and had everything we needed, including a fabulous view of the lake. Whether sitting inside with a book on a rainy day, relaxing on the deck after a long hike, or climbing on the rocks along the shore, we could always see and hear the lake. The cabin is also perfectly situated between a number of state parks, so we didn't have to drive far no matter which hike we wanted to tackle. It's a lovely spot on the North Shore!

The views are spectacular. We were spoiled because nobody else was there but us. You had everything we needed and nothing more. Strong Scented Linens
I enjoyed everything about my stay except the strong scented linens. My suggestion is to use fragrance free laundry detergent when laundering the linens and towels. The smell was so strong that when you walk in the door you could smell it. Maybe I’m more sensitive than others to fragrances but this was overwhelming. I liked the updated home and view of the lake. The home was clean and offered everything I needed. I liked the location because it was close to Temperance River State Park trails and many other trails. One thing people should know ahead of time is that there are stairs from the driveway to the front door. You need to carry your luggage up all these stairs. But the laundry detergent smell in the sheets and towels was worse than the stairs. Overall it was a good stay. And I liked not having a TV. Internet was good.

Wow! My husband and I stayed for 4 days/3 nights it this was the PERFECT getaway. It was immaculately clean, incredibly comfortable, and the views were breathtaking. We took advantage of some local state park hiking and enjoyed relaxing back at the studio in the evening. Word of warning: listen to their recommendations for bringing an all wheel drive vehicle in the winter! We only have a minivan and barely made it back up the hill. So grateful for the sand they left at the top of the hill or we would have not made it. We parked at the top the rest of the time and did fine. We will be back! Thank you!

Superior Stay
This property is excellent. Was perfect for the two of us. It was very clean and well maintained. The kitchenette was well equipped for us to make easy meals while staying. I would say better equipped with cooking gear than a lot of full kitchen rentals we've stayed in. The location is beautiful with a great view of lake superior from the deck. Close to the state parks for hiking. Would definitely stay again.
