“We stayed here last weekend with our in-laws to visit family and the hotel was perfect for what we needed. The staff are really nice, I can only mention by name Jonathan on reception who was very helpful but all the other staff on reception were also lovely as well as the bar staff and chambermaids. “We travel from Canada to visit family in the North East every year and have stayed here three times now. It has a great atmosphere and the food is very good. We’re already planning for 2027 and we will be back.”

Hats off! The staff was amazing, and they could accommodate our...

“Solo una pega: camas single en habitación familiar es sofa cama con muelles que clavan. ”

“Room was exceptionally clean with a very comfortable bed. One of the double glazed window units was blown and required replacing and the ensuite was a little tired and needed upgrading. Breakfast was very good, as was the evening meal. Staff needed chasing up not keeping up replacing side plates, and keeping coffee pots full. Staff were quick to apologise and bring out replacements. We will almost certainly visit again, despite getting a few things wrong the staff were extremely friendly and...
