“The place was very unique like you stepped back in time. The staff were very helpful. The food at the restaurant was delicious. The castle is set high up on the hill and if you do not have transportation to get there you sure get a 2 km work out from the train station.”

“Room was cleaned, but there was no staff or other guests at the hotel while we were staying. No bedsheets clean up, no changed towels, no collect trash the bin, no drinking water in the room. It’s more like Air bnb not like the hotel. The good thing was the parking lots in front of the hotel. ”

“Durch die äußerst praktische Funktion des Online-Check-ins konnte ich erst in den Abendstunden anreisen, was bei der vorherrschenden Hitzewelle genau das Richtige war. Genau wie beim letzten Mal Ende Januar habe ich auch diesesmal das Welcome, den Service sowie das Kulinarische sehr bedürfnisorientiert und freundlich erlebt. Viele gemütliche Sitz- und Aufenthaltsgelegenheiten im Aussenbereich der Waldherberge laden bei sommerlichen Temperaturen besonders abends zum Zusammensitzen und Entspannen……

“The air conditioned is small so it doesn’t not cool the apartment. You can open the windows (if you visited the city during a pandemic xtrem heat warning like we did) but then the noises of cars, people and emergency vehicles won’t let you sleep. But even with that we really like the service and the room!!”
