Nicely located in shopping area with great food options and street food. The staff especially Charlie were very friendly and accommodating. Charlie was kind enough to book our party multiple Uber taxi rides to our travel destinations during our stay. Definitely would stay here again when we are in Seoul!

Pros:-Convenience locations for food and short walking distance to buses and train stations. Changing bed sheete every 3-4 days. Cons:-Breakfast was included but not much to offer and the dining room was jammed and crowded with people and unsufficient chairs and tables, so we decided to give up the free breakfast for the rest of our stayed ( 23 days). No heater. Trying every ways to turn on the heater in our room and nowhere to be found, during winter will be very tough to sleep in a freezing cold beds(no hearter pads provided). Laundry would be very tough for those long stayed guests as you have to walk up and down hill for half a mile with loaded of clothes to the laundry shop, imagined doing this chores during the winter time. Services was average and nothing special as previously read in the reviewed.

Best for triple and especially quadruple family with grown up children. We have 2 aged 18 & 19years can still sleep together in one Deluxe Family Room that not easily to find in Seoul city vicinity 👍

Room size was okay. Room decor was atrocious…. Some DIY gone wrong. Was passably clean but bathroom a bit old and grungy. Day we left the elevator was not working and we had to carry our heavy suitcases down twisty dangerous stairs. Would not stay here again.

The staff and manager Charlie gave exceptional customer service. They were always cheerful. it's very close to the subway and there are a bunch of local shops. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Hotel was located in the middle of busy area with bars and restaurants. My room window had a terrible window covering. I was unable to sleep at night due to noise and light from outside. Nevertheless price was excellent and breakfast was included. It was a good value but wasn’t pleasant to stay there overall. The guy at the front desk in the morning could be more friendly when I asked about breakfast. Stay there if you have a tight budget and like to go out at night.

Great location, close to metro and lots of food options. Typical hotel without personalised service. No instructions on he intelligent toilet settings. No tea option, when i asked for a metro map none was available, mo breakfast sonce covid.Also no personalised help with train tickets. All of which was provided at the Hannock accommodation my friend stayed ay. I recommend staying at a hannock in preference to a hitel if youve got a choice.

Awesome place!
the hotel is super accessible to the subway and bus stations. The neighborhood is vibrant with mostly locals and with just steps away you can experience a lot of what this amazing city has to offer... from different cuisines to amazing coffee shops to even a dog cafe just down the block And of course, shopping..... The hotel itself has an italian resto that has received rave reviews, their free welcome pizza was very delish... The rooms were nice and clean( love the heated floors). What makes the stay at this hotel more worthwhile is the friendly staff, everyone is just so helpful( shout out to Charlies, Marcos and Luis) at the front desk!!! You guys are just amazing!!! Thank you for everything... we hope to be back someday soon!

The property is very convenient to the Metro and there are lots of restaurants right near it. We found the staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. Housekeeping was great. Clean rooms and fresh bottles of water daily. The pizza in the restaurant was amazing. We had it sent to our room a couple of times. Reminded me of some great NY style pizza I had as a kid. The only thing I would have liked was a little variety at breakfast. Foods was fine, but it could be changed up some. Overall, I'd definitely stay again though.

The hotel is really conveniently positioned with plenty of restaurants, transport (particularly for airport transfers) and night life. Not quite as up market as Myeongdong, but it is only a few stations away on line 4! Beds can be a little hard, but really not a big issue. Family friendly too. Staff were very helpful and can guide you to the best options for your travel within Seoul. Highly recommend!

The room is big and clean. May have difficulty to locate the hotel and the GPS may bring you to diff locution. The cafeteria is a big small to accommodate the guest for breakfast. so need to avoid pick hour.

Value-minded hotel with a heart of gold
Budget minded hotel with nice rooms and a rocking breakfast buffet every morning. We stayed here and the staff was super pleasant and catered towards American and European travelers. The breakfast is very tasty and has an Asian flare but is familiar to English speakers as well. The staff and manager are very friendly and Min (Mr. Drum) is very accessible including the opportunity to have a tour with manager for free. Just outside your door is a vibrant city with food and shopping galore near several universities so nightlife is an option as well. I would recommend this hotel especially for young people, Anglo travelers and families given the somewhat spacious rooms.

Interesting duplex on the 9th floor with city view
We are staying in a 4 person duplex, i.e. 2 storey. The spiral staircase leads up to the sleeping quarter with a single bed & a double bed. It is quite spacious & have enough head room when standing up by a 5'10" person. Yet the spiral staircase is quite narrow. Use it with extreme care. There is a single bed on the main floor. There is only 1 chair. As we are not used to sitting on the floor, everybody else will have to squished sitting on the single bed. The toilet in our unit did not flush well. It was plugged once. We were already very careful & did not throw any toilet paper in the toilet.

How would I rate DH Naissance Friendly Hotel you ask? If I could give this hotel an A . MinDrum and his wonderful staff takes care of you and tries to make you feel at home away from home. MinDrum, if you like; gives you a lovely tour and you can get him to make you pizza. The hotel even offers a wifi egg you can rent that is a lot cheaper than using an international calling plan. I have seen in reviews on how breakfast is limited, but if you ate at the Best Western or Comfort Inn in the USA that is limited. The breakfast at DH Naissance is great and healthy in my opinion. The room I reserved was 505 a Queen and Standard bed for my sister. How can I describe...you get your money's worth as the room was spacious with a big TV, small refrigerator, desk and chair, and the bathroom is the best part with a jetted tub and a shower to die for. The location is where the locals are and I saw only a few tourists, which I loved. Everyone I met in shops, cafes, and restaurants were lovely. (Tip: Learn Native phases most do not know English, learn Alphabet, be polite) Close by the hotel, you can go to a Karaoke bar, cat/dog cafe, or 20 minute walk to Naksan Park. Another great thing about this hotel, is that you are close to the subway station called, Sungshin Women's University that will connect you to any line where you need to go. Make sure if you are an English speaker to download Kakao Metro App, it's most useful and a TMoney card. I hope to come backa nd plan on staying here again

It's super convenient albeit it's not shown in map on direction. We took a cab there on first day. When met with Michael at the hotel, he gave us very good recommendation on directions. Even the trip back Incheon airport was easy. There was a free trip with Charlie, which gave us some different views of Seoul that is not in our itinerary. Greatly appreciated it. The hotel provides breakfasts and a welcome pizza.

Great location for exploring the dynamic student-oriented area and its night market and restaurants. Wonderful helpful staff and a very clean, comfortable room (we had a family room). The area is a bit noisy, but that is to be expected in a large student-dominated urban area. We really liked the manager and and staff going out of their way to welcome guests with little touches like a fee pizza.

I booked this hotel and room for 5 nights based on previous reviews. Hotel is located in one of few Women's University districts in Seoul. I was a bit disappointed b/c the area is run down and dirty. The smells of sewers were very frequent :(. My room for 5 nights were just ok. Although hotel offered daily water but no ice. Had to go out and purchase ice every night as the tiny fridge is room is not cold at all. The best asset for this hotel is the staffs. Everyone is friendly and helpful! Heard many reviews abt the GM but never saw him. The hotel's pizza restaurant is ok. Pizza and other food is just ok..nothing to rave abt. The staffs there were unfriendly and lacked customer service skills. We ate there one night and that was enough.

nice and quiet, right in the middle of the market. Came here for a conference and it is easy to explore. Even without wifi, you can easily explore using GPS in your phone via google map. Credit cards are accepted in most stores. But be prepared that some system might only take cash.

As many people have stated, the hotel is very conveniently located and is in a busy area with many shops and restaurants. Each staff member we encountered was outstanding and truly interested in making sure our needs were met, from checking in, working with the airlines to help me get a lost item back, taking care of small issues and giving us directions. Our bathroom needed to be cleaned, and they took care of it within 10 minutes. If you are looking for a good hotel with great staff for an outstanding price, I don't think you can beat the DH Naissance.

Plus: The rooms are super quiet roomy enough, clean, spa bath/shower good toilet/bidet great, good aircon and TV. Minus: Rooms: We stayed here 14 nights and the day staff didn't want to change our sheets this happened 3 times (weekend staff were excellent and made the rooms great). The bed pillows do go flat you need two to make one. We would have preferred latex pillows. The Location, Is good for food and ladies cloths and accessories but too far from the better Duty free shops and Markets across the other side of town Although taxi and train you can still get there, lots of up and down stairs on the trains though, taxi's cost not much more cost than the trains. Breakfast laid out good but.... The daily cabbage and onion salad gave my wife the runs, The 2 soups are salty, small sausage's salty too. Rice boring, one only jam for the toast its also too sweet. Corn flakes too sweet Chocolate cereal just OK. Hard boiled eggs cold and hard to shell. Same menu every day. I would have liked hot scrambled eggs and bacon or hash browns/other to start to fix this menu.
