The hotel room was small but clean. Their breakfast has a good variety to choose from. The staff members were generally helpful. The only complaint we had was the wait for checking in. We arrived around 6pm, but there was no one at the front desk to check us into our room. We called, and it took the person ten minutes to come. Perhaps this should be expected.

Very nice
The hotel is an excellent location near kamares which is the port of Sifnos. The hotel and the staff were nice. The brakfast was also very nicr and delicious, there was a great variety. We booked a room with a sea view and the room had an amazing view and was clean. Although the room was a bit small. For example there wad bo space to open a large suitcase.

Cozy rooms near the main port
Very clean & friendly. Rooms are quite small but cozy and very clean. The only negative I can think of is the entrance in the parking area which needs a refurbishment

It was a lovely hotel . We were picked up from the ferry and taken back to the bus . Breakfast was nice . The room was great and the staff so very helpful.

Overpriced, old, uncomfortable & unprofessional
Not ideal, hotel is very clean, however it is very old. Be prepared to have loud noise early in the morning when the breakfast area opens at 8:00 am. Additionally the beds are horrible, this should be a 1 star hotel. The bathroom shower is so small it has a half circle enclosure that requires you to open the door in order to be able to turn in when taking a shower. Wrote an initial review and the management send a message telling us to never stay, based on the lack of professionalism I was originally courtesy but now feel compelled to inform all potential guests, of the conditions...we found cockroaches 2 of the 4 nights during our stay, after our review of the property also received unprofessional email response from management as mentioned, most places would embrace the feedback in order to improve since they are in the service industry, this owner is not cut out to be in the service industry.

Balcony and view were delightful. Transfer from ferry was efficient and very informative. Staff were all lovely and very helpful. Position of hotel is very convenient for beach and local facilities.

What I liked most was that it was located outside of the main beach area but still an easy walk. Very quiet and private. The furnishings were very European with plenty of storage and the balcony was so sweet with lovely view of the beach and town.

We had an amazing time in Sifnos. Alexander and his family and staff were incredible hosts. I had one of the best Mojitos ever at the bar. The beach is 5 minutes away( walking) and it's awesome ( ask for beach towels). Having a yummy breakfast on the terrace, looking at the Mediterranean Sea-priceless.

3 Charming nights in Sifnos at ALK Hotel!
ALK is a fantastic hotel on the other side of the port in Sifnos. It has all the Greek charm qualities which make visiting the Greek islands so much fun! The owner, Alexander is so welcoming and seemed to know everyone in town! When we first arrived we were told there were not any ATV's available on the island. Alexander said "let me call my friend" and next thing you know, we had an ATV for 3 days! He also gave us the best tips on where to go for star gazing, where to check out the best food for a quiet night by the water, or a fun night out on the town, and which beaches to see. Also, this hotel goes the extra mile with the room service. Every day the maids would fold all our clothes that were not in our suitcases, and organize our room in a very neat manner. We were so appreciative of these little touches! Sifnos is a beautiful island and anyone who has the opportunity to see it, should absolutely stay at ALK hotel!

A little out of the way; small room slightly old fashioned; breakfast uninspiring; barely saw any staff at all. It was ok, with good views, but could be made far more welcoming. Never saw the bar open, it said there was a snack bar upstairs, but that was always shut too.

Wish I could have stayed longer
My stay was reduced to just one night because of a ferry strike. Hotel managers were most helpful and understanding. Room was spotlessly clean, simply furnished, and very pleasant with a small balcony overlooking the town and harbour. Excellent buffet breakfast can be enjoyed on covered patio. Hotel is 15 minutes’ walk from ferry/port and 10 minutes from shops/restaurants. Last few minutes are uphill, but owners kindly offered transport. Really enjoyed ALK Hotel and Kamares and hope to return.

Sifnos - ALK
We had a great experience on Sifnos and ALK was a nice place to stay. Their service was wonderful; picked us up at the ferry for no charge. Their breakfast was excellent. And, they arranged a scooter or us to use to tour the island which was delivered to the hotel, and at a very reasonable price. We would stay at the ALK again. After 2 days on the very touristy Santorini, Sifnos was a nice change of pace.

Great Friendly Hotel
Great friendly staff, nothing too much trouble to arrange, car hire etc. Room was small but perfect with four poster bed and balcony with great views. Cleanliness was first class. Cant recommend this hotel enough (and I do a lot of 5* travel)

On your arrival you will be warmly welcomed and offered a drink or soomething to eat while your room is being prepared. In our case, we disembarked from a ferry at a very early hour. Neverthless the Staff made sure to provide all of the necessary care to assure our comfort and even asked why we didnt notify them so that they could offer to pick us up with their free transport service- something which we took advantage-of on our departure. The buffet which is included daily is regularly re-stocked kept fresh and impeccably clean. bathrooms are srangely constucted withventilatioin Windows being in the outside corridors. If you are naked in the bathroom, passerbys can see you !

Magical Sifnos
We booked for 3 nights at the start of our island hopping vacation, we loved it so much that we stayed for our entire vacation on Sifnos. The hotel is very well run, friendly, accommodating and spotlessly clean. We used Kamares as a base to tour the island as you are no more than 10kms from anywhere. We welcomed the restaurant recommendations and taxi tips. We look forward to our next trip to Sifnos.

We were treated like family at this immaculate hotel. The rooms are small but cozy! The owner and his staff were very kind and helpful. The panoramic view from the hotel patio was fantastic as it is part way up the hill. Easy walk to island bus, stores, and restaurants. Bus gets you to any part of the beautiful island within 10-20 minutes. The village pride is everywhere and within our 5 short days there, people were waving to us and spoiling us with free Greek desserts or extra drinks. We were sad to go and eager to return!

This is a great hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Free shuttle from the port was appreciated too. Even though it's only round the bay, it's just a nice way to get settled immediately. We were given an upgrade to a lovely room. It had everything you could ask for and all of the small touches make your stay. Breakfast was good. ALK are definitely making the most of what they have. We really do hope we can visit Sifnos again and ALK is the place we will stay.

One of the best places I ever stayed at. The location, extreme friendliness of the personnel, the views, and the quietness of this place are top notch. It was one of my best experiences in the Greek islands. Too bad we stayed only one night. This is a place to remember.
