“I guess I expected a newly renovated room with new comfortable mattresses (based on ads and gleaming reviews), but I got an older, tired room with a lumpy mattress. Room 33 had a stale, musty odor to it. The room was clean, the bedding was clean and crisp, it's was just very tired. Don't get me started on the coffee in motels these days...I wanted to find a gem at the end of a long day, but this one wasn't it. I'll give the owner 5 stars for recommending Whiskey River for dinner.”

“This hotel had updated and clean rooms. The breakfast was poor as it was very high carb, very low protein, and limited on selection of food. The juice machine didn't work. There was no staff available to inform of the problem. Also, no staff was available to check us out. You just put your key in a box, which can be taken by anyone. I understand I used Expedia to book and pay for the room, but I like to check out with a person. When there is no person available at the front desk, customer……

“I stayed at the Super 8 in Huron while on a 2 week road trip from Portland, Oregon so I stayed in many hotel/motels. This motel is perfect for a road weary traveler. I didn’t get to the motel until midnite - the woman who checked me in was so kind and accommodating. I locked my key in my room while unpacking & she immediately met me at my room to let me in. The amenities are plentiful; in the room is a microwave, frig, hair dryer & a LARGE screen TV! There is a hot tub, pool & laundry……
