“Room was clean. Older hotel couls use a little updating . THe owner was super nice. Nice size mini fridge . Pool was really clean. Would stay there again.”

“This hotel had updated and clean rooms. The breakfast was poor as it was very high carb, very low protein, and limited on selection of food. The juice machine didn't work. There was no staff available to inform of the problem. Also, no staff was available to check us out. You just put your key in a box, which can be taken by anyone. I understand I used Expedia to book and pay for the room, but I like to check out with a person. When there is no person available at the front desk, customer……

“The bathroom in Room 104 really needs attention. The wall by the shower and toilet was nasty, falling apart. The shower head was very low, not good if your 6'3. The housekeeping ladies very nice. The prices on the rooms were cheaper, I guess you get what you pay for.”

“The hot tub and pool area were clean and the temperature was perfect. The room was clean as were the bathroom. The issue I have is we had two adults and to kids in our room and by the 3rd person we were out of hot water.”

“Really fun glamping experience! The road to the site was pretty bad but the woman Cora at the front desk couldn’t have been more helpful. There was another person later in the day and he was less than helpful. Just sitting on his phone the whole time. The tent was great except for the chargers that weren’t fully charged. Still had a really fun experience at the site.”

“We stayed here for five nights on our trip to the Black Hills. Custer is, in my opinion, the best base for exploration. We love the town and it’s easy to get to all the sights. As for the motel, we were overall very satisfied. The staff is friendly, the property is convenient and clean, and it was no-hassle with our pups. The grab and go breakfast was a nice touch. It’s really quite cute outside and there’s a Dollar General next door should you need anything. The only downsides for us were……
