“The lodge and accommodations were surprisingly impressive especially for their price point. Staff was very helpful and friendly and served a decent continental breakfast. The room was as nice as my usual Hampton Inn rooms with a new mattress, recently installed shower/ tub, heated massage reclining chair and a big screen tv with many channels. Yes I will definitely stay with them again during my next visit to Mitchell, SD.”

“I room was clean, conveniently located, very friendly staff.The only thing I could complain about is more places to hang your clothing and some drawers and hooks.”

“It was clean and decent. Staff never told us about breakfast times or any of the amenities. Unfortunately a group of 4 came in at midnight and were incredibly loud and went in and out of the door too many times to count. Staff knew and could hear how loud they were being and never told them to quiet down. They continued being loud in the hallway until just after 2:00 am. Needless to say, we did not get hardly any sleep when we had to be up at 5:30.”

“All about the details! A wonderful little place with all the amenities you could need and then some. The attention to detail from the owners is evident - makeup towels, collapsible hooks/hangers, stacking shelves and 2 collapsible luggage racks to name a few. Updated grounds, rooms and common areas add to the charm. We loved our stay and will be back if we head to South Dakota again.”

“They have a long waiver list that they don't tell you about prior with many hidden fees. You're expected to clean the room even if it was already dirty or fees apply. No staff was available when I arrived or checked out and they didn't tell us that we'd have to find a piece of paper attached to the building in the dark to be able to get into our room with a code. Very confusing, no hair dryer in the room, dirty in general, and no staff.”
