Staff is very friendly and super helpful. Not a easy time during the storm but we had a blessed stay at this hotel

Pros: nice and clean and cool when we got in our room
Location: We just stayed their close to Texas childrens hospital had to be their at 6 did not get to look around
Nice and clean the room was cool when we got their bed was not to hard or soft just right

Not to bad

The hotel was fine except one staff member at check in that would not take the time to stop chewing her gum long enough to answer a couple of questions. It was very annoying not to be able to understand her with the candy in her mouth, so i just told her to forget about it and went to my room. Other than this the hotel was nice and the lady at check out was very sweet.

Room not ready at check in

When I checked in at the hotel, I opened the door to the room to which I'd been assigned, and it had not been cleaned after the prior occupant's stay. Bed sheets were a mess, trash on the floor and counters, towels on the floor. I was given another room that had been cleaned and prepared... but be ready for surprises. The room where I stayed had no hot water coming from the bathroom faucet. Otherwise, the hotel was adequate.

worth to the price

Pros: EXCELLENT STAFF, Very polite. coffee was excellent, better than the coffee in Hyatt or in the office.
Cons: cleanliness of the room, blankets and particularly carpet. Overall cleanliness is more expected.
this is the third week, had a good experience and observed that the facilities are worth to the price. and I am also happy that part of the price is going as donation to the kids. I will continue staying here for couple of months every week until my project ends. Overall I had a good experience, but the cleanliness can be improved a little bit. I am staying here four days in a week, I dont know whether the room will be cleaned or not at least once in these four days.

Pros: location. staff
Cons: needs a pool!
Location: art car museum. bat colony at Waugh bridge. beer can house. paint walls. Lankford's Grocery. Get the Grim burger yum.

Clean room. Quiet during the night that I stayed. Liked having a security guard working in the parking lot.

Could anything else go wrong?

8:00 at night after day at the beach - no hot water. Phone didn't work. No kitchen ware or coffee pot in extended stay room. 1/2 hour wait at front desk for help - moved 1/2 of the group to another room. In first room, lights over one bed burned out. No channel guide or instructions that kitchen ware was available at front desk or by phone call (no phone working). 15% discount max - should have gotten it for free.

Horrible hotel

The room was dirty. Towels were stinking. The smell of food from other rooms were all over the place. Poor breakfast. Pay a little extra and stay somewhere else!

Great museum area hotel

Quiet rooms, even though right on SW Freeway. Nice room flooring, room kitchen. Great location to stay at while visiting museum district, Hermann Park, zoo, the Heights, etc.
