“This location is very far removed from St. Helena (25min) even though the address states St. Helena. It’s an old and rather rundown farm. The hostess was rude when I tried to cancel after finding out by a colleague that this was not an ideal place since I was traveling alone and the location has no internet, cellphone signal and it’s really in the middle of nowhere. Since the hostess did not allow me to cancel past her 30 day cancellation policy, I had no option but go. Oh yeah, after she hung……

“We were not originally planning on staying in Middletown but were pleasantly surprised on arrival. The Garden House is very comfortable and convenient to many things in town. Linda, our host had special little touches that made the stay relaxing. Number one the shower is amazing! I looked forward to it every evening the pressure and hot water is perfect and the quality shampoos and soaps provides smelled wonderful! The kitchen is well stocked if you are cooking during your stay. And there is……

“The place was perfect for my wife, dog and I, and our daughter who stayed a few days. Great central location near restaurants, but still relatively quiet side street. Good off street parking. Neat private back yard with propane fire pit and grill. Timely communications with hosts. Definitely would stay here again next time I’m in town. ”
