“Bed sheets and towels did not feel clean with hair from prior use all over it. As soon as we entered there were 2 roaches. At night it was worse. We barely got any sleep as we were nervous about the bugs. In the morning we found one in our bag. We quickly grabbed our stuff and moved everything to the car. We had 2 nights booked, but we ran away after the 1st night a horrible rest. We were visiting Cumberland island that day. We were very tired due to bad sleep and before the ferry took us there……

"I had a pleasant stay overall. The young front desk guy with curly hair was not only handsome but also extremely kind — truly six-star service! I wasn’t feeling well when I arrived, and he allowed me to check in early, which I really appreciated. The hotel was clean and comfortable, definitely worth five stars. The only downside was the service from housekeeping. Just as I entered the room and was about to shower, someone knocked loudly and impatiently on the door. Even after I said “just a second,” they kept knocking. When I opened the door, the person said something I couldn’t catch and left. Later, I called to request extra towels — it took two calls, and when they finally arrived, the staff knocked just as rudely again. Still, thanks to the great front desk service and clean room, it was a mostly good experience."
