Overall is an outdated property and overpriced!! Perhaps is convenient in downtown but there is no option on dining around if you are walking. Or breakfast buffet and for the $$$ we paid there was not even ISB port for us to charge our phones!! It definitely needs improvement.

I did not appreciate no notice of a fee to valet park when there is no parking at the hotel. Sounds from the street all night kept me awake. I will NEVER stay at this hotel again. It needs MAJOR renovations from the prior hotel it used to be. They need parking ( no valet ) for customers who drive to the hotel.

Housekeeping department needs some attention. 12 day stay and 2 days no room cleaning. The left dirtysheets laying in my open suitcase. 3 days the coffee was not replenished.

Weekend in St.Pete
I think it is important to be aware that parking at this property is an additional $35.00. The hotel is in a perfect location for walking around town.

Nicely renovated but $35 parking is extreme
Overall, nicely renovated hotel. However, a forced $35 mandatory valet fee is extreme and not worth the price.

Worst stay - Ever
Worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. Employees - friendly. Facilities - atrocious. There was no hot water, the water had very poor pressure, the bed was lop-sided and clearly hasn’t been replaced in years. The TV received maybe 5 channels which continued to shut off after a few minutes. WiFi would work for about 20 minutes at a time. The exterior side door does not work. I could hear word for word what was said in hallways and next door (I’m sure they could say the same). The fact that I had to go to a coworker’s hotel down the street just to shower is horrible. Truly the worst stay I’ve ever had. Will make sure this hotel is removed from our recommended listing. For the price comparison of other hotels in the area, this was an overpriced motel 8.

Despite some recent negative reviews about ongoing construction, we really enjoyed our stay and construction seemed to be complete as of Dec 30. My only complaint is that there are only two elevators which run extremely slowly. It took about 10 minutes for one to come this morning.

Older hotel thin walls
The receptionist neglected to tell us of the amenities on the property. For example, they had an indoor pool, a bar, and a breakfast restaurant. We are platinum Marriott members, and couldn’t believe the welcome we received. Nothing! The hotel for Marriott is very old, although the elevator Did work thank goodness. The room had been updated but the TV was the smallest I’ve ever seen in a hotel with no channel list of any kind in the room, again very disappointing. The walls were paper thin, and the vents were connected to the rooms down the hall, I could literally hear a woman talking on the phone for over an hour through the vent in our bathroom. Thankfully the noise did not carry on through the night. Technically, it is considered downtown and we were able to walk to many restaurants even in the rainy day cold evening. It is quite a walk to the restaurant areas maybe 8 to 10 blocks. For those interested in saving $35, there is parking along the street right by the hotel after 6 PM. We did not see the signs and were unaware so we paid the valet. It was not what we expected. Maybe others will be happy to stay there.

A lot of things not disclosed at the time of booking. The pool is currently closed with no timeline for reopening (per the front desk), they were doing construction in the lobby and upgrading things in the rooms so every morning around 10am there was drilling and knocking in the rooms next door to me. Don't bother paying for parking, there's plenty of spots on the street right next to the hotel.

Hotel was under construction so we had some minor hiccups. We were assigned to a room on the 4th floor but rooms had no window treatments which were laying on the floor in the hallway or in the rooms so we asked to be reassigned which was no problem. The elevator seemed to take longer than normal because of the construction workers and staff trying to get from one floor to another. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable but we had no hot water middle of 2nd day and morning of checkout. Hotel staff was friendly and offered to comp us for the valet parking. If I had known the hotel was under construction, I would have stayed somewhere else but it's in a good location to downtown.

It is under construction so the indoor pool is closed. The only reason we booked our stay here versus another. The room was good but lacking some hot water.

At check-in 12/15/23 Danielle was polite & professional. She stated $200 would be held on my credit card for room deposit at $50 per night. I stated that was unreasonably high for any Marriott I’ve stayed at so she was kind to change my n the computer to only $100 deposit. On 12/17 I reviewed my credit card charges and noticed an additional $50 was authorized by someone at this hotel. I called the front desk and spoke with Dana who stated the deposit is $50 per night staying and that even though Danielle changed the amount to $100 their computer system automatically authorized an extra $50. I told her if it’s supposed to be $50 per night why didn’t the system automatically authorize for an additional $100 if that’s the policy. She was very rude, unprofessional and short. She told me when I checked in I gave permission for the hotel to run my card for any charges incurred even though Danielle told me only $100 would be authorized. I then asked to speak with the hotel Manager for which she very rudely said “ I am the manager” I then asked for corporate’s number for which she stated “it can be googled but I will google it for you” The room was clean & even with renovations. I asked the front desk staff for NO housekeeping to enter this was not granted they entered one day. I had a king bed but only a queen blanket on it that was dingy w/ holes. The pillows smelled of mildew even after removing the cases. Hotel displays Israel flag @ coffee bar during this social unrest sadly

Nice hotel; great staff. Property currently under renovation so indoor pool was closed and one of the elevators was out of order. Another month or so when the renovations are completed, it will be even better. Price was very reasonable.

We enjoyed everything about your hotel from start to finish. Our only complaint would be the operation of the TV. The channels did not seem to coincide with the guide channel.
