Not a good experience

When we checked in, the two people there had trouble finding our reservation and said that they were new: "When they explained things to us everything went well, but now we have to figure out what to do." When we got to our room, we discovered that it had not been cleaned. We called the front desk and they sent someone over who spoke so little English that we hard real problems getting him to understand what needed to be cleaned or replaced. He brought some threadbare towels. We took the sheets off. When we started to take the fitted sheet off the bed, he said (loudly) "Nice, nice." Like it was supposed to be clean? We took the pillow cases off the pillows also. When he came back, he opened the door (it didn't lock!), didn't knock. He put a fitted sheet on the kind bed but the top sheet and the blanket were for a queen sized bed and very worn out. There was no soap and we couldn't get him to understand that. He never did vacuum the carpet, which had crumbs on it. We gave up. The sink was clogged and water was very slow to drain. We never did get hot water. We gave up on showers.
