Butler House was fantastic! Our apartment was well equipped and comfortable. The location was the best in town. We could walk to almost everything. We will certainly be back.

We really enjoyed being in the centre of town with the beautiful iconic church across the street and mountains in the background. It was surprisingly quiet at night. The amenities in the apartment were nice, including a full kitchen, comfortable bed, and sitting room. We would recommend this place wholeheartedly!

We really enjoyed our stay at Butler House. It is quaint and historic but it also offers all of the comfort and convenience needed. Check-in was simple, the place was neat and clean, and we would highly recommend Butler House.

Check-in was easy. Private entrance to Lounge room was nice, only 5 steps up. Room was very clean, bed quite comfortable and kitchenette was convenient. Keurig coffee in room. Very quiet.

Amazing place - photos don’t do it justice. Much larger than it appears. Smack in the middle of town. Street level but great black-out drapes. Most comfortable bed! Highly recommend.

Very clean and cozy place to stay - we stayed in Sarah's room. The town is right outside your window and makes it easy to stroll the streets. Everything is within walking distance from the Cozy place. Owners are very kind and helpful. Great place to stay!

There is no staff interaction, it is an automatic entrance system. You are provided with the exit door key pad number and the door number is the last four digits of your phone number. This is not too much of an issue as you do have contact numbers for any issues. Room was huge, with kitchenette, and clean. Large comfy bed. The onlh place we stayed that had a USB adapter available - a big plus for a UK visitor. The slight negatives, the room is in the ground floor and outside is rhe corridor to the attached restaurant. Regrettably sone noise was heard. Also the main front door is not locked. Now we had no problems, but I did wonder about the security of the premises. All in all a good stay and still recommended.

Would stay here again in a heartbeat

Our stay at the Butler House was fantastic. The pullout couch was so comfortable and the entire room and bathroom was spacious. I did contact the owners regarding the tub not draining great and we did lose hot water faster than we would have liked. But, we would 100% stay here again and had an amazing time. You really can't beat the location.

Max’s Roost was lovely! Clean, bright. It feels more like an AirBnB because there isn’t an in-person reception, but the communication was good and effective. There is a nice organized binder in the room to answer any questions you might have. My only warning is the bedframe is VERY creaky. If you turn over, it’s going to creak—very loudly. It’s alarming. Otherwise, it’s comfortable. At the restaurant below (which we highly recommend), some sort of mechanical noises started somewhere between 5-6am—guessing they were prepping for their delicious breakfast service. So, to do it over again, I would have put in earplugs. Would recommend for sure though-great location.

Lovely stay at the Butler House. We had a room on the main floor and despite being right on Main Street, it was wonderfully quiet. The room was warm and welcoming, the kitchen well stocked. It would have been cool if the fireplace worked, but not a big deal. Loved the whole vibe.

The facility was basic and geared toward skiers. It was basically clean and the amenities were good. The town itself was a disappointment as very few restaurants were open. We were the the peak weekend for the autumn leaves and there were plenty of people there but not much to do in the town.

This is an absolutely beautiful property. We had the Murphy bed room and I was worried it might be on the small side. It was not at all. We had plenty of room. The bed was very comfortable too very comfortable chairs to sit in a little kitchenette a good size bathroom it was beautifully set up and clean. The restaurant was delicious. Everything about this place. It was superb. Highly recommend.
