“We stayed three days and it was a fine hotel for the price. We could have stayed down the road at the $362 per night place, but that was out of the question, budget-wise. This place was responsive to requests and even allowed us to switch to a more accessible room. Parking was good, the rooms were OK - considering the age of the building. Maintenance is an issue there, but again, considering the age of the building, they are trying to keep up.”

“The renovations were beautiful. One suggestion would be that you upgrade the locks on the doors to a deadbolt type. The doorknob lock left us a little concerned, also daylight could be seen coming through from around the door. Regardless, not only would we look forward to staying again, but we would also wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone interested in visiting St Ignace.”

“We really enjoyed our week-long stay in this charming motel. The owner is very responsive to needs and the room was great. Nicely decorated, very convenient, lots of parking, near to many attractions in the area. The bed was comfortable, the room is air conditioned and very nice.”

“Excellent Quaint hotel!! It was Spotless and the Inn Keepers Caroline and Rose were so gracious and welcoming!! It’s shared bathrooms on one flooor, but really not a problem at all! It is part of Island House Hotel, but this hotel offers a Breakfast and overall better in my opinion! ”

“We were so excited to stay at the Mission Point and it met every expectation and more. From the staff to the movie theater-adorable and brought back a moment in history. “Our stay here was perfect— 5 mins from the ferry to Mackinac, very clean and modern interior, and check in/out was quick and easy! This is a perfect place to stay, we didn’t mind it being on the smaller side as we spent most of our trip out and about. For the price you cannot beat this especially compared to other surrounding options! ”
