We booked this hotel to visit the Strasbourg Christmas market and definitely were not disappointed! The hotel overlooks the main courtyard in front of the train station. It has a lot of large windows with almost a royal feel! The staff is what made this hotel stay incredible! They were very friendly and kind. The hotel itself felt grand and the rooms were large. The bathroom was even larger. The location is prime considering its locale to the main HBF train (2 minute walk). It's about a 15-minute walk to the heart of Old Town but not bad. We found a Laverie (laundromat) about an 8-minute walk away. It was clean and easy to use (1.50 euro for 6 minutes of drying -- be sure to use high heat / 10 euro for washing machine). The area around the hotel is clean and safe. It's quiet. The terrace is nice and the attached cafe is really incredible! It's a very beautiful hotel and cafe. You certainly won't be disappointed!!

Courteous staff but especially the front desk . Property is great overall except their breakfast. Coffee needs improvement and there’s not much selection of eggs (only scrambled eggs are available every day. We stayed five days so we needed more variety including fruit. Thanks.

Excellent location convenient for train commuters. Huge bathroom which is appreciated but clearly not an optimised use of space. Check-in starts at 4pm which is a far stretch considering check-out is expected by 11am. There was ongoing construction work throughout the day every day and despite informing the staff that the room is not soundproof, they did absolutely nothing to make up for this. Service clearly fell short of 4 stars.
