They were kind enough to contact us before our stay to let us know about the train being close as it seemed to have bothered a previous guest. The trains do come thru often. I could hear them quite well when I was awake. They never woke any of my family members up. (Maybe we were exhausted? Or just old? Lol) The town of Emporia is...

"Our family stayed here a year ago and had a great experience. This is one of the nicest VRBOS that we have stayed at. Cute decor, well stocked kitchen, great outdoor space, and comfy beds. The only con is parking if your group has several vehicles. However parking is available across the street. Jeremy is very accommodating and answers questions promptly. We would definitely book again."
