** Check-in is at 4:00 PM and departure at 10:00 AM, unless privately arranged. Off-season occupancy, with variable rates, requires a three night minimum stay. Summer rentals are by the week, Saturday to Saturday. Inquiries welcome for your requests!

GREAT FOR FAMILIES!

Don't miss such a wonderful home on Sunset Beach. Pirates Cove was recently used as a filming location for HGTV! You won’t want to miss your next getaway on the island with a home that is clean, cozy and refreshing! Lots of new updated furniture and bright contemporary decor throughout!

Fantastic location on beautiful Sunset Beach, guests will enjoy a short walk to the wide, sandy beach, pier, as well as easy access to nearby shops, dining, golf, boating, entertainment venues, and much more. All are minutes away.

This rental accommodates eight guests. There are three bedrooms - 1 king bedroom, 1 queen bedroom and 1 bedroom, with two twin-over-twin bunk beds. There are two full inside baths as well.

AMENITIES INCLUDE:

A refreshed and bright newly decorated interior.
Bed linens and bath towels are provided.
Departure cleaning service.
New large capacity washer and dryer.
A well-equipped kitchen filled with everything you will need for gourmet or quick meals.
Enhanced seamless boosted, mesh Wi-Fi Coverage.
Several new smart TVs (4) with all major streaming app capabilities, with YouTube TV (which is a live streaming network TV provider).
Covered screened-in porch with a comfortable seating and dining area
Outdoor eating, recreation, and grilling space.
A second newer refrigerator on ground level.
Privacy screened outdoor shower.
Outdoor security lighting and security cameras. Cameras are located at the entry points which include: Covered parking and storage, as well as front and back porch areas.
Pack ‘N Play (no sheets) and a compact high chair on site.

THINGS TO BRING:

You can bring your own linens, pillows or towels if you would like, but they are provided.
Please bring your own Pack ‘n Play sheets.
You must bring your own beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas and beach toys for children. ***We do have 4 Tommy Bahama beach backpack chairs for use, as well as 1 bag of sand toys. There are no umbrellas or extra beach chairs, or other toys / beach games available.
There is an outside outlet to charge a golf cart, but no 240V charging for an electric passenger vehicle.

We have tried to stock our home with as many things as possible. There are a few things we do not provide however, so feel free to purchase these items once you arrive or bring what you may need from home.

We DO provide the following items:
Garbage bags (limited supply available)
Dishwasher detergent (limited supply available)
Basic cleaning supplies
Hairdryer(s)
Iron and mini ironing board
Bath towels (not serviced, please wash and return to closet)
Laundry detergent and dryer sheets (limited supply)
Spices for cooking (limited supply)
Kitchen appliances include: Coffee machines (classic and Keurig), Hand Mixer, Crock pot, blender, toaster, fully stocked kitchen.

We DO NOT provide the following items:
Paper products (paper plates, cups, paper towels or toilet paper)
Coffee pods / coffee supplies
Lighters or matches (to keep away from children)
Aluminum & Plastic wrap, (not provided, although some may be on site)
Dish soap, or dish brushes (not provided, although some may be on site)
Toiletries, soap (not provided)
Beach towels

**Top deck & fireplace not for guests.


ADDITIONAL INFORMATION AND POLICIES:
Only a MAXIMUM of eight guests at any time during your stay is allowed.
There is no elevator at this house.
Fireplace is not for guest use.
This home is a non-smoking/non-vaping home.
Pets are not allowed and there are no exceptions. If there is evidence of smoking or of pets, you will be asked to leave and your deposit will be retained. No refunds will be given.
Additional charges for damages that occur during your stay will be made if furniture or furnishings, carpeting, flooring, equipment or any appliance is rendered inoperable due to renter negligence during your stay.
No refunds will be given for inclement weather.

RENTAL INFORMATION:
Peak rental season is Memorial Day to Labor Day. Unless otherwise listed. There is a seven night minimum stay during this time with occupancy being Saturday through Saturday with check-in at 4:00 PM and departure at 10:00 AM. Send an inquiry for a special request. Off-season occupancy, with variable rates, requires a three-night minimum stay. Please check the calendar for availability and rates. Note that rental rates are subject to change every January 1. Your all-inclusive rate does include taxes and deposits as well as linen and cleaning service fees. Towels are not serviced. Refunds for cancellations will be made only if your rental is made two months before your requested occupancy.

Beach Retreat
We could not have been more pleased with this property. It is a beautiful home in close proximity/short walk to the public beach access and provided us with a lovely, quiet getaway. You can easily walk to grab some coffee in the morning or a sweet treat in the afternoon in between time spent on the beach. You’re a short drive to local restaurants in Sunset or Calabash or could rent a bicycle to explore the island which we hope to do next time. The home is lovelier than the photos portray and the instructions were clear and easy to follow as far as the check in/check out process and what all the property had to offer. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay and look forward to visiting again in the future!!!

Beautiful beach. Wonderful house.
It’s hard to describe how fantastic this beach house is or how amazing Sunset Beach also happens to be. The house is well stocked, very clean and perfectly located at just a few hundred steps from the beach. The owner is so responsive and the house has everything you need. The beach is beautiful! We will definitely stay again.

Pirate Cove Review
A group of five women rented this property for a long weekend and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pirates Cove. The house was clean and the amenities were plentiful. You didn’t need to worry if you forgot something because it was provided by the host (who was always prompt in responding to our questions). Our location was perfect because it was only a short walk to the beach. We did take a beach wagon which helped tremendously. I would not hesitate to rent this house again.

We had a wonderful time at this well located beautiful beach house. The communication with the owner was prompt, friendly and very helpful. The listing is accurate, the furniture is exceptional and the kitchen is well equipped. I would highly recommend this house!

Even Better Than Advertised
Everything was clean, well-organized, and well-thought out. Lots of little things done right - from the labeled light switches to the collection of books related to the local beaches (my daughters loved the books on shells). Can't beat the location, right next to the beach. We will consider staying again. Many thanks to the owner and the property manager for being such good hosts.

What an amazing place!
What an amazing time we had staying at Pirate's Cove for a long girl's weekend away. The house has everything you need for a relaxing stay and the owner is an absolute doll to work with. The screened in porch is much bigger than it looks in the pictures and even in November we enjoyed sitting outside and watching the sunset over the other houses or you can take a short walk to the beach to see the beautiful sunrises and sunsets. All of the light switches and other things throughout the house are labeled so you don't have to guess which switch goes to which light which is really great when you have so many to choose from. The furniture and bedding are very comfortable, the place is spacious, and there's plenty of parking space. I could go on and on but I'm running out of typing space so I'll just say BOOK IT, you won't be disappointed!

The house is beautiful and is so well stocked. We had everything we needed for preparing meals as well as spending time at the beach. The beach access is a plus because there are no stairs :-) Such a great place to spend time with family!

The house was perfect for our family that came with us. The weather was perfect and a little cool but that didn't take away from the fun. This was the first time we stayed on this side of the beach but we found it a treasure since our walk was shorter than our stays on the south side. Loved it!

Lovely place and vacation even despite two days of tropical storm. Host was extremely understanding when our car battery died on going home day . We were out of the cottage but we had to wait on Triple AAA 4 hours . Clean and well appointed cottage . We loved the porch , decks, and loft . We loved staying at this place .

The property was comfortable for sleeping and provided all that we needed for space to enjoy time together as extended family. The access to the beach and downtown is very convenient. We did not do very much food preparation all so I cannot comment on using the kitchen.

Pirates Cove is a dream vacation spot
Our annual multi-generational family vacation in Sunset was delightful thanks to our stay at Pirates Cove. Diana is a wonderful host and extremely organized. Everything is well labeled and she offers little touches to make your stay exceptional. Pirates Cove boasts wonderful accommodations (decor/comfy beds/skylights). We rented a beach cart to take walks/shell hunting at Tubbs Inlet and Bird Island, but you don't need one for the day to day. Pirates Cove is situated very close to walk to the 3rd Street beach access. It is a long ADA accessible ramp over the dunes and unlike the other accesses there are no steps that you have to hoist your beach carts over! YAY! We enjoyed stargazing from the top deck and enjoying meals and sitting in the rocking chairs on the screened in porch. The charcoal grill is perfect for cooking your favorite fish/picnic style meals. This home and its owners are true gems that we're missing already!

Great Vacation!
Stayed for a week, with a family 5 and one set of parents and we had plenty of room. The upstairs loft area was perfect and all the deck space was amazing. Amenities in the house were great and it was an easy walk to the beach! Can't ask for much better!

Sunset Beach Family Trip July 8-15
Tracked with our family and my wife’s sister’s family. We all had a great time. House was just as described, very clean, and well stocked. Communication with owner was easy and responses were quick. Highly recommend this house for a Sunset Beach trip.

Pirate’s Cove Perfection!
This property is bright, airy, and beachy - the perfect beach house for families and friends! The kitchen is well equipped for making meals, the bedrooms are spacious, and we were very impressed with how clean the entire property was. All of our communications and exchanges with the owners were excellent. We definitely hope to visit again!

Pirate’s Cove has large roomy rooms, bright and open floor plan. Love the multiple sky lights. Breezy screened porch and multiple decks spaces.large loft and primary suite upstairs Large outdoor shower. Bonus refrigerator downstairs. Lots of extras! Updated furniture and decor. Well stocked kitchen with breakfast bar. I love the dishes and drink ware match.
