Absolutely Amazing
Property was better than listed. Cozy quiet cabin over looking a beautiful view. My partner and I sat outside just enjoying the view every chance we got. Property manager was also extremely friendly and responded immediately if I had any questions.

Amazing views and so relaxing!
After five days on the road this was exactly what our family needed! The park-like yard was amazing and very relaxing! So much space for our boys to run around and the campfire area and gazebo were perfect for our evenings. The view never got old. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. It was cozy but very comfortable for our family of four. We had a moose come through the yard a couple of times, which was exciting. We felt very refreshed after our stay. Although excited to see more of Alaska, we were definitely sad to leave this place!

Idyllic Cabin

Beautiful view
Easy to find and a lovely retreat with spectacular views, comfy beds and all the comforts of home. Heidi was kind and friendly and gave us plenty privacy. The cabin was clean and had interesting artifacts in it and information about Alaska. 5 stars a true Alaskan Gym.

Saved the best for last!
We were in Alaska for over five weeks and this was the last VRBO of our trip. It was THE BEST! Cozy, well-stocked, awesome scenery (how can you go wrong with mountains, a river, and aspens?!), quiet...could go on and on! We could see ourselves living in this place! Owner very responsive to messages. Would recommend this place to everyone!!!

Loved the view!
We have been to Alaska a couple times now and always get a cabin in that area because family lives in Sutton. It is a little bit of a drive but it is worth it! This is a great little cabin with two full beds. You can’t beat the view! There are some great views driving as well, the Matanuska Glacier is close by and that is a good thing to explore while in the area. I definitely recommend this cabin. Communication with Heidi was easy and she is very responsive, makes the whole process much easier.

A step back to another time.
Absolutely gorgeous setting. Fantastic location. Cabin was modernized but still held the classic homestead feel. We had an amazing time and plan to return again soon. What a beautiful piece of heaven. Thank you for sharing this with us.

Beautiful vacation cabin!
What a wonderful place to stay! Heidi was so accommodating. The cabin couldn’t be in a more beautiful spot and is well equipped for an extended stay. Our family had one of our best vacations ever and staying here was one of the highlights!

Outstanding cabin in the wilderness
This was more than we ever expected. The pictures and discription don't do it justice. The cabin was so quaint, cozy and peaceful. It was exceptionally clean, well stocked and has everything we needed and more. The internet was outstaning. which was a nice suprise. The property overlooked the river and the mountiains in the background....breathtaking! The yard had great outdoor appeal with a firepit, grill, covered picnic tables, lounge chairs and a clothes line and more. Heidi, the ower was great, she was always available if you needed anything and made us feel right at home. I did not want to leave, but would definately stay here again.

Comfortable, beautiful, great locatiom
I spent five days here in May. The views from the yard are stunning. It is a short drive to Palmer and right in the heart of the Glen Highway. Great communication and hospitality from hosts. The place was all mine for the week. I saw lots of wildlife and the beauty of the area is some of the best. Plan to visit again!

What a wonderful cabin
Wow, pictures do not do this place justice. My wife and I had the most wonderful stay at this cabin. The owner Heidi was very helpful with any questions we had. The property is beautifully maintained and the inside of the cabin was very clean. There is good wifi and a streaming device in the cabin. I would recommend this rental to everyone. Awesome state and awesome cabin
We loved the cabin and all the little details and nicknacks. Heidi was easy going, friendly, and responsive. That mountain view in autumn colors cannot be captured in photos accurately. Would recommend.

This cabin was beyond words, the pictures truly don’t do the view out the front yard justice. This cabin had everything we needed to feel completely at home for the week. Heidi is a great host and we can’t wait to book again and come back.

Great cabin in a beautiful setting
This cabin was a great place to enjoy the Alaskan beauty. The cabin was meticulously clean and had everything we needed, plus more. Heidi was very responsive and respectful. We enjoyed cooking on the grill and eating dinner overlooking the river and mountains. The drive to the cabin was spectacular and there are many stops along the way if you choose. The cabin had many extra pillows and layered bedding to accommodate cold/warm sleepers. We were excited to see a moose meandering down the driveway and through the yard one morning.

The Hollis Bluff Cabins were everything we could have ever dreamed of for our first Alaskan experience. Pictures and descriptions of the property are extremely accurate. Actually, they dont do justice to how beautiful the piece of property is. Heidi is extremely nice and welcoming. We will definitely be returning to the Chickaloon area.

A Gem in the Mountains
This cabin is exactly what we wanted for a stay in the mountains. The stay was fantastic, the views amazing, the cabin perfect and the solitude captivating. We stayed at other places in Alaska and the pictures shown were always better than what the place turned out to be. In this case, the pictures don't begin to do the cabin and the surrounding natural beauty justice. If we could come back here every year we would. It is hard to describe how perfect this was for our family.

Breath Taking
I cannot say enough about this property. All of the amenities of home in a small secluded cabin. The view of the from the property is breath taking. Please take advantage of the outdoor fire pit for cooking and enjoying the gazebo picnic table for fantastic experience. Heidi and Kevin are fantastic hosts, watching over the property along with any needs that could have possibly arise, while allowing complete privacy to enjoy the Alaskan experience. I would highly recommend this couples property to anyone who wants to relish in the landscape, slow down and enjoy the peacefulness that is defiantly a true Alaskan Experience. This the Number One Best Experience of a HomeAway property that I have ever had the pleasure to experience.
