The hotel is clean and very conveniently located. The staff is very friendly (but does not speak English very well). One important thing: have the address of the hotel written in Chinese - the taxi driver could not read it in English and did not get it when we tried to pronounce the street name. Luckily for us the information office was open and they wrote the address in Chinese for us. I think that Expedia should include the address written in local language for any country with a non-Latin alphabet.

The hotel is about 5min by taxi from Taichung train station. The staff was welcoming but asked me if my friend had already arrived. It didn't take me long to understand that this is a love hotel and not a business hotel, or perhaps both. While the pictures on the hotel's website show only the business side of this split personality, the hotel also has Japanese style rooms like the one I've been given. It does not have a desk, and not a bed but a futon. The ceiling is low. The TV is old and only shows local channels. There are no windows. The plastic bathtub has been repainted/re-plastered but is somehow leaking water. There is no shower curtain. The room is adorned with a geisha picture. A condom is supplied, and so is a fan, a fridge and a water dispenser, all of which are of yellowed, old plastic. Breakfast consists of a sandwich and a hot drink served to the room until 10AM. There is no breakfast room. The room also has a mini Zen-garder. However, I would guess the potter plant is plastic, and it is bad fengshui to attempt a garden in the corner of the room next to the door. I also noticed the empty post of the floor supervisor, with an unfinished bottle of what seems to be a local gin. This hotel should be a museum of Taiwanese interior design of the 70s. By no means does this hotel deserve even a single-star rating.

Taiwan on a budget
I traveled through Taiwan on a budget and was happy with this hotel. Rooms were small, but just fine in my opinion. It was clean. The hotel overall is a bit old, but they have excellent service. Your choice of breakfast is brought up to you each morning and they staff spoke english well enough to help me with everything that I needed ( directions, get a cab, find the metro, things to do, etc. ). If you want a 5 star hotel with all the amenities, it's not here. But if you are looking for a good, solid place to stay that provides the basics with excellent service, I would recommend here.

I booked the hotel at 5pm and arrived at the hotel at 640pm, and the booking has already been processed to the hotel. Therefore i was able to checked in right away. The staff are very friendly too giving me very homely feeling.

The hotel is not close to the railway station. It's really disappointing! Everything is old or even broken. After taking a shower the floor of the bathroom became wet. There was no buffet breakfast.

Helpful staff do well with an ageing hotel. Basic facilities, clean, comfy, but some maintenance required, e.g. power socket hanging out of wall. Central location. If thinking of walking your suitcase from Taichung Station there are many large steps/hazards in the sidewalks- this applies to any hotel in this area. - taxi is only $100NTD (<US$4)

Location is quite a distance from the train station. You can walk, but with heavy luggage, it's better to take the public bus no. 83 or 88 (alight at bus stop before wuquan street). The hotel room looks similar like what you see in the hotel's photo. Everything is quite ok, except that there seems to be a bit of leakage in the toilet. Everytime you flush, water always seep through on the floor nearby the toilet bowl & it smells. Well, you get what you paid for.

Some have bathroom door near room exit and its upper glass door panel provides no privacy in-case of visitors. Suggest curtain for the glass window and bathroom door to cut off light from bathroom and provide privacy.

靠近中華夜市的飯店
飯店隔音設備差，房外走廊有人說話都聽的見。另外房間冷氣不涼，在反應過後，只告知可轉為20度是最涼，但還是不冷，走廊的冷氣還比房裡涼，晚上睡覺一直流汗，得要跑浴室沖水。

鄰近中華夜市，備有停車空間，在週末收費頗便宜，但住房品質確實有待改進
好的經驗都註記在標題了，但對於網路訂房優惠卻覺得像被當次等公民感到不舒服，不論是光停車就被要求移車三次外，或者是被安排在二樓的電梯出口第一間，使得外面交談聲、樓下車聲極大，連室內空調聲也極大，且棉被非常薄而感到半夜極冷，希望能改進

不是很乾淨
很舊很舊的飯店，毛巾浴巾都很舊很髒，最好帶自己的。床單、枕頭罩也都感覺很不乾淨，浴室的浴缸水排掉還會從外面水槽排出來，冷氣也不是很冷，還附上電風，整體感覺不是很舒適。電話問WIFI也講的不清楚，也連不上，客房也沒有標示。如果只是想要便宜其他都不在乎能接受這些就可以了。

台中駅と繁華街の中間くらいにあります。両者を結ぶバスは頻発しています。幹線道路から少しだけ脇に入った場所です。 建物や内装はボロいです。壁、絨毯、部屋のドアを見ると古さを感じます。元ラブホテルのようです。 しかし、スタッフの皆さんは親切です。マニュアルとは違うところで気が利く感じ。 朝食はチェックイン時に時間と内容を選択します。翌朝、パンとコーヒーが部屋に届けられました。 旅慣れた人が気軽に泊まるにはいいでしょう。
