Very comfortable
Booked a king bed room, very spacious. French provincial ecor a little dated but clean. Four poster bed and huge bathroom with javuzzi tub. Four free bottles of water a day, free toiletries that included toothbrushes but bring your own shampoo. Super comfortable bed and choice of pillows. Breakfast traditional western fare and asian, not included in basic rate but worth the added charge.

Recent stay.
I had a great stay. The location was very convenient, about 10 mins from the local MRT station. And it is close to a local shopping mall. Our room was much larger then what I was expecting.

I had a nice big room overlooking the city Room 515 It is a quiet neighbourhood but with a shopping mall and MRT close by so very convenient The staff are very helpful and gracious people. The breakfast choice was excellent

Great location near Miramar entertainment area with shopping and restaurants. Luxury European styling with marble, wood and decorations. Warm welcome. Spacious room. Mildly dated with a few maintenance issues. Bed too soft for me but great pillows and comforter. 3 in 1 coffee mix in the room. Would be better to provide black with cream or sugar option. Overall quite pleasant stay.

Nice but dated hotel
Not my first trip to Taiwan, and my second time in this hotel, overall the service is good, the personnel are really nice and speak pretty good english. Rooms are very spacious, but are pretty dated, you can look at it as vintage, but you can see that some things are actually just old. The area is great for business in Neihu district and there is a big mall with shops, food court, cinema etc. just a few minutes walk distance. Overall this can be a good choice if you want to cut on the expenses as the price can be pretty cheap and the service in the hotel is good.

Being next door to Marriott - it was convenient to stay at Capital Hotel at 33% the price of staying at Marriott. We had a conference in Marriott. Breakfast was nothing special - could be improved. Otherwise - comfortable & clean hotel albiet a tad old-fashioned in decor.

Short family trip. Good location from shopping and transportation. The room has a huge bathroom and spa tub. Very roomy space. A little worn on the carpet. But other than that, this is a great choice to stay. Will be back again.

The Night Shift - Miramar and Food Republic
Full disclosure: I am a non-Asian American traveling alone in China with limited Chinese skills. When faced with 'issues', I rate the hotel staff by how much they work with me to resolve the problem. The breakfast buffet let me start early for my early tour departure. The room furnishings are a little worn and dated, but clean and functional. Great bathroom.

Great hotel for the location and cost
Very nicely situated near one of the best area in town. Next door to Marriott which cost twice as much. Room size is generous and breakfast was great. Walkable to metro and shopping as well as major supermarket. Overall a great stay!

Room was spacious and pleasant, but felt a bit antique. There was almost no view but the wall of the next building from the window of my room on 2nd floor. Was able to stay two nights comfortably. Complementary breakfast was good. Bathtub was big and there was a separate shower room. Very close to a big Carrefour store.

Hotel that made you feel like you are a princess!
My experience at this hotel is great except for the noise that I got from upstairs or downstairs of my room. First of all, check in was really fast and they upgraded my room because they did not have a room that I booked. The hotel staff could speak Japanese and English and they were really nice, so it helped my stay in Taipei. The room was amazing. Complementary food and bathroom with Jacuzzi were great!!! At night, I heard some noise inside of the bathroom and I was really scared since I was staying at the room alone. It was late at night around 2 or 3 am, but I asked for a help and hotel staff came to check the room and he explained that the noise was probably coming from Jacuzzi from other rooms. Only negative thing I would say about this hotel was breakfast. It is not that bad, but I prefer to eat somewhere else if I have to pay for breakfast at the hotel. As for location, it is not in the center of Taipei Downtown, but there is small shopping mall where you can try food from different restaurants nearby and train station is walking distance. So overall, I really like the hotel and staff was nice and especially I love the room with Jacuzzi.

I had booked myself a deluxe room for a night and subsequent four nights, a standard room, paid by the company. Thus I manage to compare two rooms. The deluxe is overall clean but the windows behind the curtains are very dusty, they are for sure not cleaned for ages. The standard room is terrible. It is dirty. The shower area is not thoroughly washed. The toilet bowl's flush is not working most of the time. The sink and top are not washed and wiped. The curtains are stained. Why I didn't feedback on the spot? It is useless as the reception is hopeless or very unhelpful. It is obvious that they are demotivated for whatever reasons that I do not know. I asked if I can continue staying in the deluxe room by topping up the difference and was refused. I was told the room will be occupied. However I don't see my neighbors (the deluxe is just opposite the standard). The occupancy rate is low. There wasn't breaksfast crowd. 10% of the seats are occupied most of the time. Smell of cigarettes at the corridor and room. It is very local set up. Overall atmosphere is eerie.

I like my one night stay
I spent a night here. The room and the bathroom are huge. Comfortable bed. Clean room and bathroom. I used their in-room iron which worked great too. I paid for breakfast which was cheap and tasty with great selection. Location is nice. Satisfied and will come back.

The staff were great. Helped me get an item I left on the plane. The place is nice. The breakfast wasn't bad. I just would likes to have seen labels on what was vegetarian. I'm sure I'll stay here again.

It was a very convenient location
It was a very convenient location and a relatively nice area. It's very near the train station and other entertainment and shopping areas. The breakfast wasn't the most exciting meal, but it was serviceable. The rooms were large and very comfortable. I would certainly stay there again if I ever go back to Taipei.
