“The cottage itself was beautiful. Clean, tidy and well looked after. You must buy from their online shop ! The location is a bit out of the way for some but only a short drive to everywhere else. Just be mindful about going out of season as things will be closed. We, & my fur baby, loved the peace and quiet and the feel of the cottage. A must is Welly boots in the winter.”

“We have just returned from a lovely weekend at Hillcrest cottage. It is exactly as shown in the listing. We loved the hot tub and sitting around the fire outside on the terrace watching the stars! Although it seems quite isolated it is less than half an hour’s stroll from Dunston and a few minutes further to Metheringham. The cottage and the views were stunning and we would highly recommend!”

“A lovely little place, perfect for a break in Lincoln.Really good location as long as you're aware it's at the top end of Steep Hill!Very well equipped kitchen, comfy beds. Felt like a home rather than a bland hotel.My daughter is at uni in Lincoln for 3 years so I suspect we'll be staying here a lot more.”
