“My son and I stayed here for a weekend to explore the fall leaf color. As a former VRBO host and a seasoned traveler, I can confidently say that this was my best stay ever. The studio is about one hour away from Grandfather Mountain and Ashville. We flew into Charlotte, which is also about an hour away. The drive to the property is pretty. “The Blue Door Cottage is a wonderful get-a-way. The guesthouse is warm and inviting. The grounds are beautiful. The pictures on the site are on point. Our family enjoyed walking to see the neighbors' alpaca and horses. Would definitely recommend.”

“This was better than I expected. I would love to come and stay for a week and just relax. It is on a quiet farm the back of the property in the woods right on a stream and with the fall colors having all the windows on the ceiling and around the room were amazing. The bathroom you do have to go outside to use what it’s attached to the building and it has a little heater so it was not a big deal. It was magical to say the least. I would stay here again and highly recommend recommended to others. ”
