Telluride Gold: 2bd/2.5bth w/ hot tub and locale!

Located in the heart of Telluride & steps to the free gondola, the tranquil river trail & our historic main street, Telluride Gold gives guests instant access to the mountain lifestyle! This 2 bed / 2.5 bath condo has a gas fireplace and a private hot tub to put the exclamation point on any Telluride adventure. Throw in stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, leather luxury and wood floors throughout and you have a boutique basecamp in Telluride's central historic district!
THE SPACE:
This is a ground level property with easy access. This split level condo begins with an open floorplan that presents a full kitchen, breakfast bar, 1/2 bath, living room and small dining area. There is a gas fireplace and large south and west facing windows to frame in the space. The views from the dining room table are of the historic train depot, the ski area and Telluride's iconic Ballard Peak!

Downstairs there are two bedrooms and two full baths. The primary bedroom has a Queen bed and an en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom has two twin beds. There is a washer and dryer in the unit for guest use. The private hot tub is accessed off the primary bedroom and is a perfect way to erase long days on the mountain!

There is a small gym in the Gold Dust Building as well as ample ski and gear storage and boot warmers.

Guests will have instant access to the BEST of Telluride with Telluride Gold as a basecamp! We provide a parking space with every stay and guests will enjoy a car-free adventure with this location. Within a block's walk you will encounter our free gondola, a ski lift, historic main street, hiking trailheads, world class dining and the tranquil river trail along the San Miguel River.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
This unit is roughly 700 sq/ft and is efficient, comfortable and split out over 2 levels. The location is superb and the off street parking ensures you can "set it and forget it" when it comes to your car! You can walk everywhere in town in minutes.
We also offer a private shuttle service for our guests and information on this will be sent to you in your booking confirmation.

The Southwest is the BEST! Telluride Gold is located in the quiet southwest corner of Telluride. Surrounded by historic Victorian buildings, hidden (and hip) eateries and serene river access, this mountain basecamp gets you into Telluride for the fun and home for the tranquility in minutes.

Great Location
The best part about this stay is the location. It's about a five minute walk in ski boots to the lift/gondola, and that's about as close as you can get for the price. Pros: - Location - Showers were great and hot - Comfortable beds/pillows - Nice touches from the host with guidebook, candies and wine, and other small things throughout the stay. Cons - I would not say the kitchen is well stocked at all. It's got the bare minimum, so if you're planning on cooking that can be a challenge. - Living room furniture was uncomfortable. All in all, we had a great time. I would probably look for another spot in the future to stay. They have raise the prices after the recent paint job, so it's likely not quite as good of a value as it was when we initially booked it.

The property is well stocked with all items you need in the kitchen and bedrooms.We were greeted with a bottle of red wine, snacks and a few beers and soft drinks in the fridge! The electric fireplace was nice and warm and we really enjoyed the jacuzzi and heated floors in the bedrooms and bathrooms! We would stay here again!

Cute place, great location
Right by the free Gondola and blocks away from Main street, pleasant walk to everywhere. Loved all the hooks in the place, clean and cozy. I only have 2 complaints which is the bedrooms have absolutely no place to put your suitcases, they have dressers but for just a few days we don't unpack. The tiles in the downstairs bathroom need to be cleaned better and the floor of it feels slimy. I would stay there again though, very nice.

Terrific location, awesome communication, spotless and charming
This is a cute little unit close to just about everything in town. I was here for the Telluride Film Festival and even the furthest theater is under a 15 min walk away with most within 5 to 10 mins. Luke was super responsive to a few problems with the appliances and extremely accommodating to all of our requests. Highly recommended and we'll be back! Note: One of the other reviews said that the spiral staircase going down into the lower level is a bit steep. This is true, however, the lower level is also accessible from another set of stairs just outside the main door, and those are nice broad normal stairs, so you can always use that if you need to. This was not a problem for any of us.

All was great. Perfect location. Very comfortable beds, sheets, sofa etc. a bit underwhelmed by the hot tub. I would not even list it in the description but I understand why there were no photos of it. I would definitely stay here again - not using the hot tub.

This place is just right for a couple or small family. The location is convenient to everything in town, but is off the busiest streets enough so it’s quiet. Access is very convenient for loading and unloading. Bedrooms were comfortable and kitchen well-equipped.

Truly Golden
This should be the role model for all VRBO's! First was the welcome we received: a nice welcome sign, bottle of wine, beer and sparkling water in the fridge, and candy/granola bars filling two jars. They even included coffee. The place was absolutely clean and had everything we needed. The location was so perfect that we parked our car when we arrived and didn't touch it until the morning we left. Our days and evenings found us exploring the town, trails, and the free gondolas! It was a perfect get-away!! Thank you Luke and staff!!

Great location, walking distance to restaurants, glandula, local bars, river walk. Will keep on our list for future trips. Only negatives: Stairs to bedrooms are steep, but not horrible. Kitchen only had one spoon to share.... So plan to share or bring some with you. Floors needed swept. We picked up dog hair on our stuff, so even though no pets allowed, someone before us must have had a dog there. Loved the location. Perfect relaxing place to stay.

This property was perfect for me and two teens to stay in actual town of Telluride and enjoy easy access to skiing each day. Enough space to hang out, eat some meals and good beds for sleeping. I debated staying down in town or up in Mountain Village. So glad we stayed in town. Much more authentic a trip.

Great Stay for Two
I stayed here with my mom in April 2022. The place was a great size for a group of two. The location is walkable to the gondola and lifts if you ski and is right by downtown. Two full bathrooms downstairs with one powder room upstairs. There’s also a small private hot tub with this unit (we didn’t end up using). We had plenty of towels and the kitchen has almost everything we needed and also has a gas grill and coffee maker. Host left snacks upon arrival and has a very detailed check in and guide book for your stay.

The condo was great. Cute and compact, but everything we needed. I was very impressed with the user manual that was emailed before we arrived. The location in town is spectacular. I'm sure it was just an oversite that there was no bedding for the 4th bed/ pull out couch. We didn't discover this till 10:00 at night on our 2nd night of 2 night stay. So there was no time to ask the owners, but I am confident they would have fixed if we asked.

Absolutely perfect!
My husband and I spent our honeymoon in Telluride, and decided to stay here! This condo is absolutely adorable & cozy! The location is great! You’re not right on Main Street, where tons of people are around.. but you’re 2-3 blocks from it! Easy, beautiful walk to Main Street and an easy walk to the Gondola. The private hot tub right outside of the main bedroom is great. We hiked Bridal Veil Falls, so the hot tub was perfect for our muscles and just time to relax. Luke & Katy have such an easy, friendly guide to staying there and information for the town. They made it very simple and enjoyable. Definitely recommend! We will be coming back and staying here!
