Very good, but....

The room was well appointed and in very good repair. Everything functioned as it should. The bed was firm and comfortable, but not all too stable for active adults.... The beds moved. We didn't spend too much time in the room, as we were underway most of the time. The service was amazing, from the bell staff to the room service. A little known fact is the green option- you can save 20 euros off your room service bill by asking for the green option- this means they don't service your room for a day and you earn 20 euros- not a problem if you reuse towels and make your own bed... The balcony was small but cozy and screened from the freshwater pool (we were right next to it) by the vegetation. The infinity pool is a huge saltwater pool. This was unexpected and pretty unique.
Now for the not so good- It took a couple of tries to get a working water cooker (3, to be exact). The safe stopped working and I had to call the desk to get it fixed. There were two shower heads- a hand held and a "rainfall" head- The upper shower head was pointed the wrong way and the bath got flooded until we figured out that you have to point the stream to the back of the shower. Ice for drinks costs 2 euros. There is a dress code for some of the bars in the hotel (Slacks and a collared shirt, no sandals) so if you want to enjoy the hotel amenities at night bring appropriate clothes.
The town is close by, but small with little (aside from restaurants) nightlife. The Hotel had a full program.
