It actually was at no fault of the property!! I always book through Expedia (which I did for this trip) the only thing that I did differently was that I was going to have my dog with me! When I searched I included pet friendly for the hotel. Holiday Inn Express was on the list, I really like Holiday Inn so I booked it. Once I got to the hotel, I unloaded everything (including my dog) walked into the hotel at 8:00 something at night only to have the desk clerk ask me if my dog was a “SERVICE DOG” and I said NO, WHY? At that point I was told that PETS WERE NOT ALLOWED!!!!! The desk clerk told me that they have requested many times for Expedia to remove them from the “Pets Allowed” but it still has not been done! So be warned and double check with the property before arriving!
