“This little cottage was great. Well equipped (but the toaster is struggling a bit). Stunning views, great outside shower, a double hammock and lots of kayaks for a morning paddle with the loons. Life at Lake Opinicon at its finest.”

“Wonderful cottage, with a spectacular view, located minutes from Cedar Pointe State Park and short drive to downtown Clayton. The cottage interior is incredibly clean, nicely decorated and remodeled with thoughtful amenities including onsite laundry and an exceptionally well stocked pantry for guests to use. The cottage includes access to the boathouse amenities and I enjoyed utilizing the kayaks and paddle boards available for guest use and even the outdoor grill was immaculate. Very……

The BBQ and full kitchen made things super easy and provided everything we needed and more. The cottage itself is cute and the private walk down to the lake serene. “Great hosts and location make this place. Excellent communication and easy check in from the start made us feel welcome. The house was built in 1863 but has been updated for all the modern amenities. Very clean and comfortable. The outdoor deck and fire pit area offer a great view of the bay and Boldt castle. Docks are well kept and protected from wind and traffic, easy in and out. ”

The weather was rainy, but the lake was warm so it didn't stop anyone from jumping in for most of the time! The cottage was well-equipped so everyone could sleep comfortably and eat all together! The property manager was communicative and accommodating to our needs and would highly recommend this location for a short or long term stay!”
