This hotel is close to Zocodover Plaza, yet tucked away on a quiet street. The hotel staff warmly greeted us and assisted us during our stay. Shopping, dining, banking, and points of interest are within a short walking distance.

Very nice place to stay in Toledo! Sightseeing, restaurants and shops were walkable. We parked our car at the near by parking garage during our stay and we had she hotel stamp it to get discounted rate. Staff were kind, helpful and friendly. Assisted buffet breakfast was ok.

Great Hotel in Fantastic Location
Hard to find a negative here. Welcomed by enthusisastic front desk with lots of information about Toledo. Old building but modern inside, everything perfect from the king size bed, great bedding, good bathroom and lots of amenities. Location steps from the main square but so quiet. Walkabe from station depending on luggage in less than 30 minutes with great views along the way. Highly recommend. Everything just like the photos. Phone app room entry option so you never have to search for your room key. Only negative is many rooms like mine face the inner courtyard with no external view. You may like to request external view if that is important to you

Weird Experience
The room was nice, but two things went wrong - If we turned on the night lights by our bed, the entire room lit up, and there was no way to control it. Also, there was a window facing the bed that was way up there in the ceiling, and the person at the front desk for our first evening knew how to close the shade, so we slept with a bright street light glaring at us the entire night. I asked the front desk about it in the morning, and they just said the front desk person was new and they did not train her on how to close it. I asked, as a courtesy, that we have breakfast at no charge (since we did not get a wink of sleep because of the window issue), and they said "no." Very disappointing - an expensive hotel and they could not accommodate us for this crazy situation. Not good customer service

Dear Mrs. Lehman, we are sorry that you finally decided to post a bad review, but you have to understand that we cannot give you two breakfasts because you could not find the switch that lowered the blind, which was next to the other switches that control the lights in the room. I feel obliged to remind you that you did not ask for the breakfasts as a courtesy, you asked for them by threatening to leave a bad comment if we did not give them to you for free. I also feel obliged to remind you that when the hotel refused to give you the two breakfasts, you went into the breakfast room and started grabbing and asking for food, and subsequently refused to pay for it. Days after this unpleasant incident an agent of the platform through which you made your reservation contacts the hotel to tell us that you now want a refund for one night of your stay. You can continue to threaten and leave bad comments to get free stuff if you wish, but we recommend that you stop doing so.Kind regards.

The hotel was beautiful with a comfortable bed, great shower, and terrific location. I do wish the cooling unit worked better. It got extremely warm in the room.

We had a large beautiful room (#14) but the only problem is it is situated over the atrium where people dine, so their voices can be quite noisy during the day and evening. They have a very nice restaurant with caves to dine in. Our server Eva was wonderful-so helpful and friendly. The reception staff was excellent - Javier was extremely helpful and very hands-on with every detail of the hotel. The air conditioning in our room was lacking - it isn’t individually controlled. So the room was always a little warm for our taste. For a nice rooftop bar experience visit Azotea at the Carlos Hotel. It is non-smoking except in a special area which is so rare in Europe. We really appreciated being able to sit on a rooftop terrace without breathing smoke! For the coldest beer in town, visit the Santa Fe Restaurant next to the military museum.

Book ahead so you can get directions from the hotel. Don’t use google maps. It is tricky to find. The hotel is a beautiful 16th century building and protected by heritage requirements. The hotel staff were very helpful

Wonderful
Wonderful welcome, Fabulous old Hotel just off the main plaza. Room brilliant, spotless and excellent beds and bedding, lovely modern bathroom. Restaurant and bar too. We didn’t have breakfast but we did have dinner there and the food was excellent too. Would definitely stay there again. We had trouble finding the hotel so i took a taxi and my husband followed in the car. The cost of that from outside the city was €4.20. Worth every céntimos. The receptionist gave us a map and marked where the hotel was plus a couple of routes to follow as this old place is a maze of streets. Thank you so much for a fabulous 2 night stay.

Excellent location, set back enough to be quiet. The hotel has lots of architectural character. Our room didn't have a window, which was disappointing. It also was too warm, and temp control didn't work. Breakfast buffet was wonderful.

Decent property, friendly staff. A bit harder to locate and drive to, though they sent a YouTube video in advance of arrival that helped. One other point, their suggested parking lot is down the hill but has an elevator that cuts most of the walk away if you’re lugging bags. Great shower.

I was very surprised by the property, the staff was great all around, reception, bar, restaurant, the breakfast was really good. I will definitely visit again, the room was very nice, bed was confortable, bathroom was also nice.

The charming Hospedium Posada de la Silleria occupies a beautifully renovated 16th century building right in the city center of Toledo. Our room was truly lovely and comfortable with a wonderfully appointed bathroom. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was outstanding. We will come back! The value cannot be beat.

The room lock did not work, and it turned out that the door lock needed a battery. The room is too hot and does not seem to be adjustable.

The temperature is really easy to control with the termostat in the room, if you had some trouble with, the reception staff coud easily fix it. Kind regards.

Great stay!
The employees there were helpful and very kind. Breakfast was great. The hotel is in an old house that has been remodeled, so it has great charm and comfort. The only thing was the AC that was not easy to regulate.

We enjoyed our stay at Hospedium Posada. The staff was lovely and the room was very spacious with great views of Toledo. A/C never seemed to kick-in and cool the room from 24.5C -the corridors were cooler. We enjoyed the breakfast and the service, and loved being so close to everything! FYI: misleading parking information. There was no "free offsite parking within 0.2 mi" or at least none was offered upon check-in. We needed to park at a nearby parkade about a 7-min walk (with luggage) to the hotel. The hotel did stamp our parking pass reducing the rate to €16 instead of €21. We chose this location because of the "parking" so this was disappointing.
