Property manager was excellent. Restaurant lobby is unique and stunning. Meals were great. Location to restaurants perfect. Rooms were clean but a tiny bit of wear and tear noticeable around shower and inner bathroom door was stuck despite an engineer fixing

Other than the parking situation at this location, I would say everything was spot on. Cleanliness, quality of everything, and customer service. The hotel smells like a spa and feels like you left the country and arrived in Greece. I love the theme.

Save your money. While the old Thompson has a fresh green facade, it tries too hard to be more than it is. The staff were friendly, but did not go out of their way to recognize the milestone we were celebrating. Our room was not ready upon arrival. Late checkout request was denied. Sink drain was clogged in the room. Plugs beside the bed did not work. Room was quite noisy. Expected a lot more for the considerable pricetag... would recommend looking elsewhere for a downtown getaway.

I really enjoyed my stay at 1 Hotel. The service was impeccable and made my first trip to Toronto a safe and comfortable one. The rooms are clean, inviting, and spacious, and the common areas are beautifully kept. My only issue with my stay was outside of the hotel’s control, but still disappointing nonetheless. The building directly across from the hotel and the one next to it are undergoing construction currently and extremely noisy. I woke up to sounds so loud it shook my window. It was disappointing because I loved everything about the property, aside from my inability to sleep in on vacation. Regardless, I would stay again, once the work has been completed.
