“The room is comfortable and perfect for one person. The staff are helpful and friendly, and the hotel is conveniently located near the train station. However, a downside is the lack of a lift to the room, so light luggage is recommended. It would also be an improvement to have a desk and chair in the room.”

“We stayed here for one night after a day in Winchester. A nice enough hotel, with staff pleasant enough. The room we stayed in was small but well kept. The main issue we had was that the room was that next to a staff run through, meaning doors were slammed constantly. Further, there was no air conditioning, and the room we were in at the bottom floor was next to a busy beer table and had lots and lots of mosquitoes, meaning we were bitten to heck! “We had a lovely stay and were made to feel extremely welcome. The room was very clean, modern and comfortable. Walking distance from town and close to multi-storey carpark, which was useful. There was a great selection for breakfast and it was possible to choose what you wanted for a cooked breakfast. Fantastic, quirky stay with mugshots of criminals lining the walls and prison doors into rooms. Would definitely stay again”

“Overall, this was a great stay, Positives; 1 - Great breakfast options, including a full english. 2 - A very welcoming and friendly host. 3 - Light and airy room, with good shower facility. 4 - Tea/coffee making facility in room. 5 - Nice farm with Cows and Goats on site. Handful of negatives (*2nd one i was warned about by the host, but it could do with improving for future stays); 1 - Mattress was a little on the stiff side.
