“The twin room offered a good sized space for a European property, but otherwise was very disappointing as it was shabby and dated. I knew from the pictures not to expect luxury but it was less attractive in person. The building had the feel of an old roadside motel and I would not have felt safe or secure there if I had been traveling alone. “Fantastic stay. Single room, 2 nights. Excellent rate. Recently refurbished. Layout was perfect for a small space, somehow they fit in a large modern shower with waterfall head! Fan provided, window opened wide to keep room cool. Staff were lovely and happy to help with anything. Free parking at the back of pub. 2 mins to centre or harbour. Would 100% stay again :)”

“We had a bit of a rude welcome but this was rectified the following day at breakfast. A well placed property with a good breakfast. The bathroom was a little tired and the beds were comfortable.”

“Great location - walking distance to town centre for shops and restaurants and cafes - short drive to beach. Had a takeaway from the Thai restaurant - very good Accommodation was very comfortable and hosts very friendly. Breakfast was put out for us to help ourselves in the pottery shop each morning and was a good start to the day with fresh fruit and croissants. Reliable WiFi we were able to watch Wimbledon with no problems. All in all a delightful stay and would definitely stay again.”
