Fabulous Stay
We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful setting. Malcolm and Angela were on hand if needed without ever being intrusive. The swimming pool was well looked after by Malcolm during our stay and cleaned regularly. We look forward to visiting again.

A very good fortnight to remember
La Bergerie ( The Sheepfold ) a very well maintained property set in spaciest grounds . The swimming pool above expectation, and very well maintained. Plenty of open space surrounded the property. From the house there is plenty of off road walks . Plenty of beaches to choose from . Pezenas very interesting to visit day or evening, large choice of restaurants to choose from and of coarse the Saturday market . Must thank the owners , on hand if we required anything, direction, shopping etc. They were very unobtrusive. Thank you again . We will return, Bob and Andrea

Delightful Property
La Bergerie has a beautiful pool and terraces surrounded by wonderful landscaped gardens. It is a very relaxing place to stay. We loved to enjoy leisurely meals and lively conversation on the terrace under the unusual and very practical little "pavilion". The owners, Angela and Malcolm, were very helpful and kind but in no way intrusive. The D13 road is busy and care must be taken turning in and out of the drive but the property is well screened from the road and any noise soon goes unnoticed. The road is in fact ideal for visiting Pezenas, an absolute gem of a little town, Roujon which has very easy access to a good supermarket, and it also connects to many routes from which to explore l'Herault.

Lovely Cottage with pool
This was our first time in this area and we were delighted with our choice of accommodation. Probably the best cottage we have stayed in. The owners who lived next door were there on hand to answer any questions and worked tirelessly to ensure the pool was kept in tip top condition. We enjoyed our holiday very much, the weather was perfect and I believe that this area is known for its lovely climate in summer.

Delightful cottage within easy reach of everything you need
We spent a lovely week at La Bergerie in August where our only disappointment was it wasn't two weeks. The owners were so attentive to our needs making sure we had everything we required, without ever imposing on our stay. The cottage is well appointed, all the rooms are adequately sized and everywhere was clean on arrival. We are a family of 5 and had plenty of space, although the cottage will comfortably house 6. Outside there is so much space, perfect if you have children who like to run around. The swimming pool is a lovely size and not too deep. We are keen runners and found several routes away from main roads which were perfect. They would be equally perfect if you just prefer a stroll. Or just sit around on one of the two terraces and enjoy the sun. There are supermarkets 5 minutes away in two directions so you have a lot of choice where to shop. Pezenas is equally close and is a lovely place to wander around with some great restaurants. Don't forget to visit the market on Saturday but be warned, it gets very busy. If you're looking to have a beach day, there are lots to choose from. We visited Vias Plage twice which is about 25 minutes drive. The beach and sea are perfect for children, even those who can't swim well. The sea is quite shallow and stays shallow for some distance. If there was one thing people should know, then it's that the property stands quite close to the D13. This is a main road and can get busy. It really didn't affect us. You can hear the traffic but the property sits down, away from the road. When you're in the pool or on the lower terrace you don't really notice it. We never noticed it inside the cottage. All in all, we would highly recommend La Bergerie and would have no hesitation in returning.

Wonderful place, with fantastic garden and pool
We stayed at La Bergerie for 10 days and we (my wife, our two daughters and myself) had a wonderful time. Malcolm and Angela are very kind, discreet and helpful. We truly loved the spacious garden. One can tell a lot of love and time was invested. The pool was really fantastic, especially because of the rapidly increasing temperatures during the last few days of our stay. We highly recommend this accommodation!

Schönes Haus, toller Garten und sensationeller Pool
Es hat alles super geklappt. Wir haben die beiden Wochen im Juli sehr genossen, vor allem der Pool auf dem großzügigen Grundstück hat begeistert. Die Vermieter sind sehr sympathisch und sehr diskret, die Übergabe verlief reibungslos. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Tolles Domizil mit sehr schönem Gelände. Nur die nahe und viel befahrene Straße war bisweilen etwas störend,- viel aber nicht wirklich ins Gewicht und wir hatten tolle entspannende Tage. Vielen Dank!

Maison atypique avec un bel extérieur et une grande piscine. Dommage elle est située au bord de la D13 qui est une route très empruntée et bruyante et son entrée se trouve dans un virage. Les propriétaires habitent sur le même terrain. Ils ne parlent qu’en anglais. Dans la maison il y a de nombreux livres et jeux de société mais ils sont en tous en anglais ainsi que les guides touristiques et les règles de la maison. Attention, aucun visiteur n’est accepté dans cette location (ni famille ni amis). Il faut bien lire le règlement intérieur. Nous avons invité notre famille (un couple et ses deux filles) pour passer une journée ensemble. Nous étions tranquillement en train de dîner quand les propriétaires sont arrivés en colère, énervés et agressifs. Nos invités ont été expulsés sans ménagement. Aucune discussion n’était possible. C’est inacceptable!! Nous avons été choqués par le comportement et l’agressivité des propriétaires. Ceci nous a gâché la fin de nos vacances. Nous ne recommandons pas cette location. A fuir !!!

Dear Yann, I’m somewhat confused with your contradictory review. As is clearly shown in the house rules, subsequent guests are not permitted. You ignored this fact and invited family to use the facilities between 1100 and 2300 at the end of your stay. I politely made you aware of this fact early afternoon and you blatantly ignored my request subsequently stating late that evening when I again asked you to abide by the house rules that you were having a fantastic time and that your guests did not want to leave and infact refused to leave. Your review is in complete contradiction to your kind comments throughout your stay and against many other travellers thoughts. I wish you all the best in the future and hope you find suitable accommodation for you and your extended family to use in the future.

Grande propriété avec cour commune aux propriétaires qui sont disponibles. Beaucoup de livres en anglais disponible, jeux et télé Maison non climatisée et en cas de forte chaleur comme ce fût le cas les ventilateurs seuls ne raffraichissent pas. petit bémol à la réservation, montant dit en euros et lorsque l'on paie celui-ci se fait en livre, ce qui occasionne des frais bancaires supplémentaires. L'entrée de la propriété est située dés la sortie d'un virage.

Habituellement, les ventilateurs fournis sont suffisants pour les clients, mais nous cherchons à améliorer les ventilateurs pour fournir un refroidissement par glace pour l'été prochain. Das Haus ist in Realität geräumiger und schöner als auf den Bildern. Es ist umgeben von einem sehr großzügig geschnittenen, gepflegten Garten mit einem großen Pool und mehreren Sitzmöglichkeiten draußen. Wir haben den Urlaub sehr genossen. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich, diskret, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend.

Dans l’ensemble un bon sejour
Nous avons passé une bonne semaine dans l’ensemble , logement atypique (Bergerie) , propre à l’arrivee , l’accueil agréable , heureusement que je parlais anglais ! Le seul gros bémol c’est la proximité de la D13 qui est une route très passante et oú les véhicules roulent vite . Par contre tout est bien clos autour de la propriété . Notre chien a été ravi 😀. La piscine est grande et bien entretenue , un peu refroidie pendant notre semaine . Les environs sont agréables et on est très vite à Pezenas , jolie petite ville à découvrir .

Merci pour votre avis. Je note vos commentaires sur votre séjour à la Bergerie. Je voudrais répondre à certains de vos points. La description de la Bergerie en tant que "bergerie" est quelque peu trompeuse, le chalet était la maison des bergers. Nul doute que l'exactitude de la description a été quelque peu perdue dans la traduction. Au fil des ans, tous nos clients ont aimé l’authenticité et le charme de la propriété (comme indiqué par d’autres critiques). Il n'est pas nécessaire de parler anglais pendant votre séjour au chalet. Nous avons maintenant une clientèle très diversifiée de toute l'Europe et communiquer avec eux ne s'est pas avéré être un problème. Par conséquent, même si nous apprécions que les gens souhaitent nous parler en anglais, ce n'est pas nécessaire. Nous communiquons électroniquement tout au long du processus de réservation dans la langue requise. La route à laquelle vous vous référez, D13, est la route qui relie les petits villages de la région à la charmante ville de Pézenas. La limite de vitesse dans notre région est de 70 km / heure et est réglementée par la police locale. Nous nous engageons à offrir à nos clients une expérience inoubliable. Nous sommes conscients du besoin de discrétion et de confidentialité, mais nous sommes toujours disponibles si le besoin s’en fait sentir.

Genialer Urlaub in einem wunderschönen Grundstück.
Super nette Vermieter (aus Schottland). Man sollte wissen, dass 2 der 6 Personen im Doppelstockbett schlafen müssen (für Kinder ok). Der Pool ist wirklich genial. Die Umgebung erfordert eigentlich 3 Wochen Urlaub- bei dem, was man hier sehen und erleben kann. Pezenas ist geschichtlich nicht unbedeutend, sauber und mit einer schönen Altstadt. Einkaufen kann man in jeder Richtung innerhalb von 5 Minuten. Ich würde für das Frühstück die Boulangerie in Roujan empfehlen. 👍
