Beautiful property with friendly staff. Room was clean and very comfortable with generous tea and coffee facilities. The pool was great to have, if a little chilly! Lovely to see the peacocks on the estate.
Building is grand and everything you expect from a stately manor. Once inside the large staircase area is breathtaking! Room was comfortable, clean and everything I could want was there. Dinner was in the restaurant which was lovely! Breakfast I had delivered to my room for a small fee and was also delicious. Every single member of staff that I came into contact with was extremely helpful, polite and friendly. This was a lovely little break to relax and visit friends and I would stay here again.
Staff were excellent. Day on leaving we thought breakfast finished at 10am as Monday was Sunday hrs. As it was bank holiday. The lady on reception saw our mistake and asked the kitchen staff if we could have breakfast. To my amazement we were offered a full breakfast if wanted. My wife was so pleased. Thank you so much for your amazing staff.
I had the most amazing time. The staff were amazing, I took my partner for her birthday and I also proposed, i let the staff know before I got there, and on arrival I was upgraded to the most beautiful room. I have never experienced staff like the ones at pendley manor. So thankyou to you all. The hotel is beautiful and so are the roaming peacocks. I will definitely be going back. Thankyou all again for the most amazing weekend.
A highlight of our trip to England. Charming, comfortable, fun, lovely location. Breakfast was delightful. The peacocks were wonderful. The staff were great. The spa and pool were perfect.
Great stay here as a mum and daughter.
Room, facilitates and food were excellent.
The gardens are beautiful with peacocks everywhere. The males were fanning out their beautiful tail feathers!
Only downfall was the poor water pressure in the rooms shower and horrific noise it made after about 5 mins of it running! Sounded like an airplane taking off!
The room was lovely and clean. The air con in the room was very much appreciated given the fact it was so hot when we visited! Staff were so lovely and friendly. The grounds and lovely and safe, so our kids could wander around and feel a bit more independent even though we could still see them. Lovely, quiet pool, and the kids loved the peacocks!
Great Hotel, very happy. Everyone was helpful, we had some good food and drinks in the bar, lovely breakfast the next day.
Beautiful grounds with peacocks roaming around.
Amazing stay! Let us check in early, room was clean and nice. The spa staff were great! Breakfast in the morning was yummmm (ate in the peacock room, stunning!). Only downside of the trip were the scary peacocks trying to steal my food and the sounds they make in the morning.
Excellent all round. Great room, friendly staff, lovely pool which was very quiet, and good breakfast options. However the toast was a bit of a let down, only standard bread unless you opted for the sourdough.
Beautiful quiet locations and the peacockd were fun!
Lovely spacious room, fab shower. Comfy beds, great food and service. Would definitely recommend, set in a beautiful area and surroundings.

Room spotless, pool, steam room and sauna all made it a very relaxing stay. Evening meal and breakfast really good too. The family room was great for four adults.

We chose to stay here for the air conditioning and what we thought would be a lovely hotel. The hotel reception - on check in the staff were helpful, quick, efficient and communicative, it went downhill from there. The hallway to the bedrooms had dirty plates cups and glasses down there for the best part of the entire first day and evening! The breakfast, at £22 per person it was low quality food for a premium price! You’d be better going into Tring! Our shower, tiny piece of glass stopping the water going everywhere, so bathroom was constantly wet! Little gripes, but makes the experience barely ok…. Would I go back? If the Grove wasn’t available, maybe! Book with caution!
