“As always, the Lake Lure Inn was a delight. They used to have continental breakfast but weren’t offering during this stay. Always enjoyed the continental breakfast and it added value to the many stays there. We look forward to its return. In its absence we thoroughly enjoyed delicious breakfasts at a fairly new restaurant called The 828.”

“An amazing stay in the beautifully quiet Blue Ridge mountains. Picturesque Lake Lure is only a short stroll away. Chef Richard prepares a wonderful gourmet breakfast each morning and this definitely not your basic B&B but all at very reasonable prices. Thank you all. I cant’t wait to return.”

“My buddy and I get our families together every few years. We decided to try out Lake Lure this year. The Lake Lure Oasis in the Woods was the perfect place! We had 11 guests to include 4 adults and 7 kids from 3 to 16 years of age. Chris’ place was plenty spacious for us and very clean. Chris was very responsive. Upon arrival, we realized the microwave wasn’t working and Chris had a replacement brought to the house the same day. If you have a large family or friend group this place would be……

“Five stars for this beautiful and cozy cabin which is just as described. Plenty of space for 7 adults with comfy common areas to socialize and 4 nice bedrooms & bathrooms for privacy. Kitchen was clean and very well stocked. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery from the hot tub and the fire table on the back porch after a long hiking day.
