Wat ons vooral is bijgebleven, is de enorme gastvrijheid van Gabriella en Emanuele. Vanaf het eerste moment voelden we ons welkom. Ze waren heel vriendelijk, reageerden snel en stonden direct voor ons klaar als we een vraag hadden of ergens hulp bij……

Unfortunately the placement of the AC unit, which was intermittently louder than it should've been, meant that even on low speed air was blasted up my nose all night. This made sleeping very difficult as the AC is obviously non negotiable in the August heat. Did have an issue with communication.
