“The hotel was in a perfect location. We were able to easily walk to dinner and although the weather wasn’t great for a swim, the pool is beautiful and well-maintained. The breakfast was perfect for my kids and I. Only complaint was that the treadmill didn’t work. The rooms are quite small but having the balcony helped. Would stay here again”

“It appears the property is living in its once beautifully maintained state. The new owners have hired wonderful and kind people. It seems to be family owned making it a definite plus. Just not sure how long they can keep up with the needs of running a hotel. When booking through Expedia, the advertisement included breakfast. Breakfast was not included. I reexamined the Expedia claims. In one place it says, “Breakfast is included.” In another, it says, “Breakfast is available.” And yet, in……

“The air conditioning system in the room vacillated from turning on, getting very cold and making a loud noise to turning off and leaving the room hot and humid. This went on all night long resulting in a horrible sleep experience awaiting each cycle. The system was not as "smart" as we were led to believe. There is no fan in the bathroom. “The historic hotel is in a central location walkable to many different restaurants and shops. Also, it is roughly 20 minutes from Sandy Hook beach. Staff is very helpful and accommodating. Overall, The Molly Pitcher Inn is truly a beautiful and rare find!”
