"I was DJ'ing a wedding outside of Rocky Mount — but I would recommend this beautiful mountainous area to any traveler who wants a little respite from the city. The hotel is very nice — clean and well maintained, with a friendly and helpful staff. I never got opportunity to use the swimming pool, but the complimentary breakfast was good — and the availability of coffee at any hour was especially appreciated."

"My family (children and grandchildren) enjoyed the house for the 2nd year in a row. SML has become our favorite summer destination. It is a beautiful property in a great location. We rented a boat and wave runners for the week but as we travelled with little children the pool is a necessity. "We had a great time at LakeLubbers!! Plenty of room for our party of 8, with fully stocked kitchen, and grill on the patio. The location is very convenient to Bridgewater Marina and shopping / restaurants, the dock was convenient for parking our boat, and the upper dock was a hit with the kiddos!!"
