First visited this Pousada in 1997 and said if we ever come bs k to Portugal we must come back to this beautiful panoramic location. We were very pleased with our reception, room and the great breakfast and dinner. Even better than we remembered,

This is a beautiful property with amazing views over the town and ocean. The hotel is lovely, a tad dated but it is beautiful.
It is a twisty drive with switchbacks up to the hotel for those with my fear of heights!

The hotel sits at the top of a little mountain and has spectacular views. The service is great. Food is delicious and they serve a wonderful breakfast buffet. I hope to stay here again. You can take a funicular to go into town.
