This apartment was optimally furnished and equipped especially for longer (business) stays. It is located on the 1st Floor of a small apartment building near Schönbrunn Palace. You are surrounded by numerous gardens and yet public transport takes you to the vibrant city center in just 15 minutes. If you are arriving by car, you can park it in the garage in the neighboring house for an extra charge during your stay. The Schönbrunn Palace, the oldest surviving zoo in the world and the Technical Museum invite you to enjoy culture in just a few minutes. The parks offer ample opportunities for walking or running. At nearby Hietzinger Platz you will find numerous shops, boutiques and restaurants. You stay in a house that was built in 1872 and has only recently been renovated. The entrance area is already fascinating due to the hand-carved wooden ceilings that were made by the Stadlhofer carving company. The old Viennese charm of the apartment on the 1st Floor has been lovingly preserved and adapted to the modern needs of its residents. The high rooms, the large double doors and the original herringbone parquet are reminiscent of times long past. The open fireplace radiates cozy warmth on cold days and when the burning wood crackles, pure cosiness returns. On 80m² (3 large rooms), the apartment for two people offers plenty of freedom of movement and retreat. For a short time, two guests can also spend the night on the pull-out couch in the living room. The living room is equipped with high-tech for work and entertainment. The fast broadband internet access (also via WLAN) enables you to work comfortably. A large flat screen TV with surround sound, DVD player and an i-Pod docking station for your favorite media provide entertainment. The high quality and tasteful furnishings will also please your guests. In the top-equipped kitchen you can conjure up a great menu that you can enjoy while eating on the fully glazed airconditioned loggia. After a hard day, you can rest your eyes in the surrounding gardens and the underfloor heating ensures warm feet even on cold days. In summer you can use the flowering garden to relax together or cool off in the pool. The counter-current system provides suitable fitness training for those with sporty ambitions. On the charcoal grill you can conjure up a delicious BBQ and enjoy the mild nights in the middle of the city. Das Schloss Schönbrunn ist Fußläufig erreichbar genauso wie der Zoo. Man kann ein Stellplatz für sein Autodazu mieten, was in Wien sehr sinnvoll ist. Unsere Woche war sehr angenehm. Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig, sauber und hübsch eingerichtet. Der Höhepunkt sind der Wintergarten und der Pool. Da die Eigentümer selber in den Urlaub gefahren sind, hatten wir das ganze Haus mit Pool und Garten für uns alleine. Die Lage ist super: zu Fuß in 10 Minuten an der U-Bahn, dann noch mal 10 Minuten zum Karlsplatz. Da fahren dann auch die Hop-on-Hop-off-Busse ab. We found transportation system in Vienna exceptionally convenient and comfortable. If we could give more than 5 stars we would! This has been our 4th trip to Vienna our first staying here. It was the biggest and most comfortable yet. It is in a quite area yet easily accessible to transit, shopping and Schönbrunn Palace. Having a toddler visit us daily was easy as there was lots of room for him to play. The kitchen was a bonus as we prepared most meals at home. Above all the hosts Andrea and Franz were wonderful people that were always available to answer any questions we had. Undoubtedly, our best accommodation in Vienna. Am Schloss Schönbrunn ist man in wenigen Minuten zu Fuss und mit der Straßenbahnlinie 52 oder 60 kommt man in sehr kurzer Zeit zum Westbahnhof und kann von dort alles in Wien gut erreichen. Die Vermieter, Andrea und Franz, sind sehr hilfsbereit. Wir würden jederzeit wieder dort logieren. Danke. In dit appartement hebben mijn vrouw en ik 1 week verbleven en we hebben zeer genoten. Midden in de stad, maar een heerlijk rustige tuin met zwembad. De woning is meer dan compleet en sfeervol ingericht. Ontvangst zeer vriendelijk. Auto de hele week niet nodig gehad en die stond veilig geparkeerd in een garage. Nogmaals, wij hebben een fantastische week gehad in dit zeer luxe appartement.
