Hotel with good location

Posted Aug 29, 2016
Pros: Location
Cons: Facilities look old.
Location: Paseo Tabasco.
This hotel is an old hotel, the hotel location is good, rooms are ok, although a little small and the AC was making a lot of noise. The hotel staff was ok, the rooms were old and they were clean but the bed probably needed an upgrade. I will recommended for someone who is just going to stay there for a short period of time.

Good central location with great staff

Posted Jun 15, 2016 on Wotif
Pros: The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful where they could be. The swimming pool is amazing and the business centre was adequate.
Cons: The thermostat in both rooms I was in didn't work. On my second night (after which, I changed rooms) there was a LOUD function on across from my room.
Location: If there were activities on, they would be on near this hotel (sometimes they were even at the hotel).
This hotel was right between two major intersections leading to the Cathedral, specialised shops and the Liverpool Shopping complex. within 5 minutes walk is the Central Government Offices (Villahermosa Palacio Municipal), several hospitals and a park that has a Museum on one end and a small Zoo/Natural History Walk on the other. There are plenty of places both Western and Mexican in nature around, along with banks and "cajeros" (ATM's). The area is arguably not really suited to non-espanol speaking people as only a handful of shop keepers and hotel staff could converse in any way in English. The English to Espanol (and vice versa) mobile app. assisted a great deal here

Decent Overnight

Posted May 1, 2016 on Hotels
I arrived late in the evening and was met kindly. My room took sometime to be found but was taken care of in good time. The air condition was not working but they fixed it and as stated before the wifi was not working at all in my room. It was a decent stay for what I paid.

Bad deal

Posted Nov 26, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Service, beds, safes, minibar.
Location: Near La Venta.
Unhelpful staff, even speaking to them in Spanish. Could not understand why we wanted a safe. Hung up on me twice. Finally moved us when i went in person, to a room with a broken safe and no mini bar. Bed was falling apart and we stubbed our toes multiple times. Beer was scunked at the bar. Nice looking pool, but jacuzzi's were drained. Good location. Free wifi and parking. Overall a disappointment.

this hotel is kind of old... I'd say it's a two stars hotel.

My stay was very short only one night but it was pleasant, Internet not the best but I was able to do with patience what I need it to do online. Great price and safe location.
