This house maintains its 1920s charm with original shiplap ceilings, hardwood and chandeliers. A complete renovation in 2020 brings amenities to include: all new furnishings, central heat and air, WiFi, wall mounted televisions in living room and both bedrooms equipped with Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Sling (orange and blue packages including local stations), Alexas in each room, and full size front loading washing machine and dryer. The updated kitchen includes granite counter tops, brand new appliances including a 5 burner gas stove, stainless steel side by side fridge, and microwave. BBQ grill located in backyard.

Short but sweet stay!

Cute little place with adequate parking. Neighborhood was nice and quiet. Security cameras made us feel very safe. The house was fully stocked with everything we could need. Lovely home will definitely look into staying here again if we are in Waco.

The house is so cute and location is fine. It’s is in a neighborhood that is loud with people and traffic. We had a great time seeing all Magnolia! The house is historic so very cute but smells very musty.

Beautiful home

This was a beautiful, cozy home. We loved our girls trip and had a great place to stay in. It was very clean and comfortable. We had all we needed. You will need to park on the street and the light switches are in odd places, but it’s to be expected in an older home. The hosts are great communicators so if you need anything, they can help.

Perfect for our needs!

This little house was perfectly located for our visit to Magnolia. It is located on a fairly busy corner with stop signs, which translates to a fair amount of car noise even throughout the night. If you are a light sleeper, you might want to pack some earplugs. Otherwise, no complaints.

Super quaint & comfortable

Rating the three times my wife and I have stayed in the Waco area, this home was far and away our favorite. The hosts communicated VERY timely and continually offered themselves to help with any questions/concerns. Since the home is equipped with a washer/dryer, it made packing for our trip SUPER convenient, since our stay was going to be almost a week at the home. Equally convenient, was the location of the home, not only to Waco, but to shopping and nearby attractions also. The ONLY points taken away, and this is knit-picking, for us, compared to the two previous stays, at other homes, was the lack of off-street parking. My wife and I will ABSOLUTELY look at availability for this home, before for any future visits to the Waco Tx. area.

Early August Visit

Home was very charming and full of all the amenities. However, neighborhood is quite busy and main street in front of home, Morrow Ave., has constant traffic on it and people speed through the neighborhood early in the morning and late at night. Only place to park your vehicle is on the street, so we made the decision to park on the side street of the house to avoid any issues. This was not disclosed in any of the comments, but future renters should be aware in case you are expecting a quite neighborhood. Not so quiet.

Friends Weekend Away

My two friends and I wanted to have a cute house we could visit and catch up and this house was exactly what we were looking for. It is close enough to all the things we wanted to do in Waco and also a great place to just relax. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Elizabeth, the host messaged me with instructions on how to enter the house and they were detailed and appreciated. There is not a driveway but we had no problem parking our three cars on the street especially since this is a corner lot. The products they use in the house are also great (paper towels, toilet paper, soap, etc.) The kitchen had an amazing gas stove and the fridge has a water/ice maker. We loved the charm of the house and details the host has put into it. Overall, this house was exactly what we needed for girls weekend away and we would gladly book again.

Girls trip

Neighborhood was older, curb appeal of house was not as shown on picture. The interior of the house was very clean and cute but the floors were uneven, and there was no water pressure which made showering challenging. I have stayed at many VRBOs so I was surprised to be asked to strip my bed, collect my towels and place them by the washing machine, empty the trashes and put in garbage can outside; isn’t this what the cleaning fee for? Also not all of the electrical outlets work, there are power cords in every room to assist with plugging in devices to the outlets that did work but I was not comfortable doing this as I did not feel it was safe.

Waco Charming House is a lovely, well decorated, tech advanced, well equipped, comfortable residence. The living room was cozy to watch the smart television. Although I brought my own laundry detergent, the house offered detergent pods, fabric softener and dryer sheets. The washer and dryer worked like a dream. The master bedroom was roomy and comfortable. The street the home is located on is very dark and made walking from the car to the front porch a little dangerous with regards to footing and stepping from the street to the sidewalk grassy area. Parking is on the street in front of the house. When the neighbor across the street parked his truck in front of his home it created a bottle neck on the street. Cars driving by drove very close to my vehicle as they passed by. The only complaint I would voice is the noise from the traffic. The home is located on a side street, but the amount of cars driving by the house was astonishing. A neighbor has a motorcycle and rode up and down the street for a minimum of half an hour. I was awakened by the sound of motorcycles, trucks and cars at 6:15a. The home is lovely, comfortable, well supplied but not quiet.
