The Hotel was like a party/homeless hotel. Smell like weed and the room to both side and above where loud. I couldn't get any sleep. I had to sleep at rest stop on the way home.

Pulled up at 9:45pm on a Wednesday to police cars with flashing lights blocking the entrance. Clearly something was going down due to the police in the hotel. Walking up the appearance in the lobby looked uninviting and the rest of the neighborhood was shady. Decided it was not the hotel we were going to spend 2 nights at and enjoy their pool. The hotel will not refund our money even though they are clearly not a 2.5 star hotel, the entrance was blocked, and their advertising is false. Take this into consideration when booking this hotel.

In more than 30 years of travelling, this was the worst hotel experience I ever encountered. I was searching for a low-cost value room. I have stayed at Wyndham properties in the past, but this hotel was beyond the pale. The room I had reserved was supposed to have 3 Queens (two beds plus a pull-out couch Queen). We arrived late at night, and when we got to the room, it had only two beds and no pull out couch. We tried to call the front desk, but the phone in the room was dead/not working. Calling the front desk public number, the phone was not answered. There were very thin sheets on the bed, with no comforter -- it was cold. NONE of the outlets worked in the bathroom. Even worse, the walls were paper thin. We were on the 2nd floor. There where people fighting and kids screaming at 2am on the 3rd floor. The "free" breakfast was cold, terrible and the food area was dirty. Milk left out on the counter. Visibly dirty equipment holding food. NO COFFEE! Expedia and Wyndham should not list this property. It was totally disgusting.

We had roaches in our room. The ice machines were not working. A few other residents took a table and chairs from the meeting room outside for a bonfire. The room stated multiple beds but it was only double (2) beds in the single room.

the ice machine was broken. there was no drinking water or ice for cold drinks. the maid service was barely adequate, they did not always make the beds or return promptly with clean towels, they stole my personal wash cloth (it was not the same as theirs). the property has a run down appearance. breakfast was cold and the juice machine needed servicing. it spilled water on my hands. there was no real blankets in the room the air conditioner/heater unit would not run both a constant fan AND the heat at the same time. i needed the constant fan as a white noise to fall asleep but the room got cold while i slept due to that setting requiring the heater to be in the off position. the room and acoomodations were barely adequate. i will not be returning or recommending it to anyone else.

Got there and didn’t even go inside. Do not take your family to this location. Very unsafe and unclean. Called to cancel and get a refund, but was told it was non refundable. Doesn’t look anything like the pictures. The is a Hampton in nearby. Very safe and very clean for just a little more money. That is where we went. No amount of money could have convinced me to take my wife to the Wingate. Her safety is far too valuable.

Upon arrival, the person at check-in was not friendly. Once we got to our room, the condition of the room needed some refreshing. Chipped paint on doors, cabinets. The walls were dirty and there were stains on the bedding. The sleep sofa mattress was so bad that my son slept on the sofa and not the pull out bed. We registered as 4 adults but only had 3 towels. Also, after purchasing blankets from a nearby walmart, we asked why the beds had such light bedding during this time of year and it was at that time that we were given thicker bedding. This was one of the worst experiences at a hotel I've had. The night that we checked in on 11/10/23, there was an incident involving gun fire and several police. Blood stains were on the carpet in the lobby the next day for guests to see. Thats unacceptable!

The person at the front desk when I tried to check in was very offputting and not interested in helping me. She was chatting with a friend? co-worker? who was standing at the desk and was actually the one who made helpful suggestions to me. She charged me a damage deposit, which I've never had to pay at a hotel before and was rather amusing considering the condition of the hotel (it's undergoing renovations, so it's very run-down right now) and lack of amenities as a result (no hairdryer, no iron, no extra blankets although it was freezing). There were spots and even hair on the bathroom floor, so I'm concerned about how clean the room was. Breakfast was very sketchy, almost nonexistent. When a property is being renovated, perhaps they shouldn't be renting out rooms in it.

This place is in a very dark street before you get to the hotel. The whole building is in renovation. Extremely loud, you can hear people talking and walking. The staff are very nice and polite though.

The property was dirty with a lot of locals around smoking weed. Felt very unsafe , had plastic on windows said they were doing renovations but only saw them painting outside. The room had dirty walls and carpet, water spots on ceiling. The hotel is not in any condition for decent people to stay .

This the worst place I have ever stayed. There were people hanging outside the door. A domestic attack in the parking lot. Marijuana smell throughout the hotel, the carpet was filthy, the tub did not drain, there was mold on the side of the bed. Walking down the hall was scary because all you could hear was arguments and sound of parties going on. It was so late and we had been driving for 15 hours I did not sleep at all.

The clerk at the front desk was only on the job for a short tie with only 3 days of training for the position. He tried the best he could to resolve a problem that occurred with Expedia booking but had to call his manager for assistance. Lots of noise at night on the 1st floor near my room got very little sleep. No hotel phone in my room had to call the desk from my cell phone at 3:20am When leaving in the morning new people at front desk were very pleasant.

This property should be shut down! First of all we get there and the elevator is not working and my room was on the third floor and I had my 84 year old mother with me and she can't walk the stairs. Then they gave us the second floor. I still had to walk up the steps. They allowed 13 & 14 year old kids to have a party with no parental guidance. Very noisy all thru the night. Could not get any rest. Only good thing about the place is the beds slept well when you could get some sleep. The TVs did not work right in my room. Upon check out time, I did not receive a receipt because the clerk said they ran out of paper, she said she would send it to my email. At this point I have not rec'd a email receipt yet. Customer service is terrible. We were suppose to get blankets because the rooms were cold. Never rec'd them. This alone made the trip to Maryland unpleasant. Right now I do not want to come back. I need a receipt!
