Our family of 5 stayed here 1 night on our way from Boston to Newport. The apartment was very clean and the location was convenient. A variety of coffee pods and a Keurig were a nice touch. However, we had a few hiccups. We didn’t realize that laundry facilities are only available if you stay at least 2 nights. We also were only provided 4 bath towels and 3 wash cloths for the 5 of us - when we requested more, we got no reply from the owner for over 2 hours and then all she said was “how many did I leave out?” By then, we had shared what we had and gone to bed. The private balcony is also currently under construction and unavailable. There are plenty of pillows but mattresses are all rather firm, and you should be prepared for a lot of street noise all night long.

Great directions and communication with host, the space was super clean and the kitchen was spacious and ready to use. Huge bean bag in the living room was an awesome surprise as was the sweet little balcony where I had some hot cocoa in the evening.

This was my second year staying at this property and I am in the process of booking for next year. The bed is comfortable, the shower is hot and it is centrally located to my activities. What more could I want! Kathryn is also very easy to communicate with. Thank you for another great vacation...

The place was clean and a nice apartment. We stayed only 1 night. Yes, there is traffic and you will hear it all night long, but it is what it is (if owner lists this, would you rent it?) The beds, for us, were so uncomfortable...too soft. But that's a personal preference. The ceiling fan made an intermittent noise that kept waking me. The towels were rough and felt like they were washed without softener. As others noted, there weren't enough towels and wash cloths for the number of guests registered to stay. There was no soap in the shower, the shampoo was dandruff shampoo and used, and the conditioner was cheap and also almost empty. The listing said these items would be available so I didn't pack. There were extra fans for use, which was great. We were asked to wash our dishes and take out trash to keep cleaning costs down. Seems like the trash should be something "normal" to do. We couldn't connect to the wifi (only mattered bc my kids couldn't play their game) because the instructions didn't match the available wifi names and the chalk board instructions weren't legible. No, we didn't contact owner for this. I read the other reviews and responses. Bottom lines, you get what you pay for and if you're in the business of renting then you need to deal with the issues that arise.
