Everything from check in to check out was excellant. Lots of restruants and fast food available. Room was clean, safe and comfortable. Would stay there again.

They were supposed to provide a "Breakfast". That was a loose definition. In short, the Coffee Machine was broekn, except for Caffeine Free. No Yogurt, fruit was an Apple. No Toast available......very weak.

Carpet was filthy, furnishings falling apart, bug bait all around which is unsanitary, bedding smelled and dingy, ac was very loud. If our backs weren't up against the wall needling a place to safely rest on a 14hr drive i would have checked out as soon as i got there and opened the door.

Decent hotel for price. Room had a slightly weird smell and bathroom was tiny but beds comfortable and shower hot. Breakfast was limited but Waffle House next door.

My Stay
My stay at Econo Lodge was good. Cost effective. Rooms definitely need upgrading, but it served its purpose. Front desk staff was very hospitable! Absolutely great.

Bare bones amenities, no free breakfast as promised on Hotels. Com site. Bed was comfortable, and shower was modernized but it had some mold. Walls were thin enough that we were awakened at 2:00 by people in the next room talking

Bedbug incident but helpful, courteous staff
Checked in and staff was courteous and prompt. Checked for bedbug signs before settling in and saw none. Stashed my suitcase and backpack in the room and went to grab a bite at the Waffle House conveniently located next door. Returning to the room, I lay down on the bed, called my mom and chatted with her for 20 minutes. Flipped over on my stomach, grabbed a book to read, and spotted the first bedbug - late adolescent stage. Killed it and got much more watchful. Within the next 5 minutes three more very small bedbugs emerged. Called reception and the night manager came to check. What I really appreciate is that he did not try to deny the situation. He apologized very politely, said unfortunately the hotel is fully booked for the night so he has no other room for me to move to, and he would give me a full refund immediately. He even called the hotel next door to see if they still had rooms available (they had a worse rating so ultimately I chose the Red Roof Inn and that was fine). So, I'm not happy about the bedbugs at Econo Lodge (I'm currently trying to decontaminate my luggage, ugh), but I do understand that hotels face this problem sometimes and honestly they were so small that I can understand it may have just been the first observation. And I must say that the staff was absolutely as professional and helpful as they could have been under the circumstances.

Never made it into the room. Reserved online through Expedia on the road. After driving all day, went to check in. The room was a smoking room. Had to cancel and receive a refund because they could not accommodate a non smoker with asthma.

Accessible off the highway for a late night stop while travelling, however; the staff was not friendly and other guests were up late playing loud music and smoking.

Don't count on getting what you paid for
First floor rooms are tiled and cleaner, second floor rooms are carpeted. I booked a non-smoking room and the hotel didn't have any when I arrived. The same thing happened to the family checking in after me. So, their reservation system should not have allowed that to happen, or the hotel simply is selling out the non-smoking rooms to walk-ins without any care for upcoming reservations.

Overnight stop off i95.
Overnight stop for i95 drive. The place was clean and the ac worked. We stayed here as we were traveling with pets and hotel is pet friendly. Only $10 per pet. Will use again.

Good for the money spent
For the most part the hotel was okay. The staff very friendly and accommodating. This hotel is in GREAT need of a update. The sofabed was so worn and old looking we never used it. The door needs to be updated seriously the locks are super old. And housekeeping needs to clean the AC and the door. I used a disinfectant wipe and it was super nasty. The bed and rest of the room was clean and comfortable but this hotel would be so much better if updated and cleaned properly.

The check in and check out ladies were the most friendly people I've ever met in twenty plus years of motel/hotel check ins. Everything was great, but I did wipe down and clean the ac vents.

A nice surprise!
Usually do not choose to stay at Econo Lodge, but this one was rated good, so I took a chance. I was not disappointed. Nice quiet room. Great for a one night stay while traveling!

Roaches appeared around 2:30am, room stunk of cigars and weed after 1am, found spilt food in microwave, no toiletries, shady people walking around property, carpet clearly hasn't been cleaned in a while... Would have stayed at another hotel but we arrived very late and all others were fully sold out...
