“The unit is located in the Sandpiper complex. There's a small and a larger parking lot that you will need to hang a permit to park in either. Make sure to park in an unmarked spot or else you will get towed. We didn't really get to check out the pool or grill as we had an issue trying to check in our first day. Luckily, we were able to get a hold of the Host and he refunded us a good amount to make up for the mishap. The unit is on the small side and can only accommodate 2 people. The bed……

“We enjoyed our stay in Kauai at the Kiahuna Plantation Resort. The room was nice and clean and the AC was crucial. The Kiahuna beach was very nice and the amenities onsite were good. We could partially see the ocean from our room but we could not hear it. We did not use the swimming pool or gym facilities because they were a bit of a walk across the street but the nieghborhood was really great. The lanai was awesome but the AC outlet is on the lanai with you and was exhausting hot air pulled out……

“Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely stay here again. One thing to be aware of before booking is that this condo does not have air conditioning. That was my oversight when booking, but I didn’t realize the evenings would get warm enough to make sleeping uncomfortable. Because the unit is on the ground floor, we also weren’t comfortable leaving the windows and doors open overnight. The location is excellent. “It's very nicely decorated, the view is excellent, and the landscaping is beautiful. We arrived after dark and had a hard time seeing the combination on the key box. It is not lit, and difficult to turn. Then we struggled with the locks for a half hour before the door would open. The next day was hot and all of the window louvres were stuck closed, so we couldn't get a cross breeze and even with four fans going and the bedroom AC on, it was intolerable. “The condo was as advertised. It was just right for my husband and I. Check-in went very well, thanks to Lani's detailed instructions. We were so pleased with the accommodations - the bed was comfortable and the pillows and bedding made for good sleeping.
