“Dear General Manager, ​I am writing to formally bring to your attention the unacceptable conditions we encountered during our recent one-night stay at your Walterboro, GA location. We arrived and checked in at approximately 10:00 PM, having paid $180 for the night. ​Upon arrival, we discovered that the elevators were out of service, forcing us to use the stairwells. The stairs were visibly very dirty and poorly maintained, which set a terrible first impression for our stay. ​The situation……

“The rooms were really nice, clean, stylish. The bed was very comfortable. Staff was friendly. Parking was ample abd they are Pet Friendly. My only complaint was i was on the bottom floor which is what i needed, but im pretty sure the people above me had dogs that were running back and forth all night and i mean all night so i wasnt able to enjoy sleep”

“Breakfast was acceptably good , air conditioning was good.”

“TV did not work, phone didn’t work, room smelled, safety chain lock was pulled out the wall, outlets by bed and bathroom did not work. The manager was curt and wouldn’t make eye contact. It appeared from the men standing in the outside walk way that the majority of the rooms were highway construction workers looking for a cheap room. Across the street stands a Holiday Inn Express which was apparently at full capacity. We will stay there on our trip home.”

“My TV didn’t work. The front desk person tried over and over again to get the maintenance guy to fix it. He never showed up. As long as I was there he never even responded.”

“Bed sheets and towels are very dirty, bathroom needs to renew breakfast and service are ok”
