Found paradise!
Best house we’ve ever rented! Great location! Wonderful host and concierge. They can arrange everything you wish for! The house is wonderfully equipped and that view…..that view is just amazing! We spent one week with friends and we loved every minute! There is so much to explore around the house! Make sure to bring a lot of sunscreen and some bug spray. We can highly recommend that property! Thank you Dean and team!

Amazing! Relaxing! Beautiful!
This was our annual girls trip. We had the best time! We were looking to relax and chill for the week. If that’s what you’re looking for then this is the place. It’s very remote and very quiet. It’s quite a ways from town. The lazy river was amazing! We spent all day in it! We only used the pool one day. The property is just as beautiful as the photos. My only very small complaint was that we couldn’t get WiFi in the one little house by the pool. Not a big deal as the main house never had any issues. Had to fall asleep to the ocean waves instead of my phone. Didn’t take long to get used to that! There were also some little sand flea type bugs biting so bring some bug spray. I can’t say enough about the lazy river! We kayaked the mangroves every day too! You will definitely want a rental car!

Words cannot express how beautiful and special this island and this home are. If you are considering booking this home, do it, and thank yourself later!! We stayed here for my 40th birthday trip with 6 other couples and everyone had the most incredible time!! The owner, Dean, is so helpful and responds to your messages quickly and pleasantly! I see why he loves the Bahamas, his soul is one with this beautiful island as he truly wants you to enjoy the peace and tranquility that is Blue Lagoon and Little Exuma. Thank you Dean for answering all of my Qs so quickly!! When you book your stay, immediately book a captained cruise with Theo and his son TJ out to pig island and stocking island for a visit at chat n chill, cap it off with a sunset at Da Sandbar and tell Trina Sarah says hi! Additionally, book a private chef prepared dinner with Chef Khristont - he sings and I’m pretty sure that jerk chicken and chimmichurri steak changed my life!! We experienced a storm and the power went out but came back on an hour or so later. On the island, when the power goes out apparently the water turns off too. No fear! Just buzz Judy and she’ll get it back on for you in less than 15 minutes - it’s island life, no need to worry or complain!! Last, enjoy every minute on the serene sound, by the lagoon of this property as you can. Our days spent lounging on the private beach, sea shelling the sandbar or kayaking into the mangroves will be a core memory of a lifetime!!

Do not hesitate. This is the one.
Our stay was amazing. The property has absolutely everything. Privacy and beauty everywhere. We even found a great snorkeling spot essentially right off the property. The lazy river was great. There is a private beach nearby if you explore around. Both the owner and property manager were very nice and helpful too. I was nervous before we left because everything seemed almost too easy. However, Judy was at the airport with our vehicle and Check-in at the property was also simple. It is a bit off the beaten path and away from nightlife, but that was perfect for us. I would suggest 4WD on any vehicle rented. With that said, I highly recommend this place.

More than exceeded expectations.
I have never been able to give a five star rating on any vacation I have taken till now. From booking our trip to picking up a vehicle at the airport and being looked after during my family stay, I was deeply impressed. I arrived to a stunning house that was fully furnished for all my family’s needs. From the moment I entered the house I was met with the cool air conditioning inside. Then I saw the beautiful view of the ocean through the front sliding doors and I instantly knew this was a place I would not want to leave. The many pictures that we took, made everyone envious back home. These pictures showed us swimming in the mangroves, taking a half day boat trip to sandy beach, having lunch at stocking island while petting stingrays and chasing needlefish. We played in the ocean on provided kayaks and spent the evenings enjoying the clean, heated pool well into the night. The morning of our last day, my wife and I stood one last time with our feet in the ocean, reluctant to leave but already planning for our return. Thank you Dean Hiebert for providing a place like no other for my family to make life long memories.

Dream Vacation Spot
Incredible! From the moment you walk in the door you know you've chosen the right place for a dream vacation! Private, perfectly located, lots to explore or the best place to just sit and soak it all in. An inviting atmosphere where every detail has been carefully considered. Our kids didn't touch their electronics this whole trip - and not just the kids, my husband and I found there was always something to explore and enjoy right here on the property and because of the unique location it didn't matter if it was windy, our shoreline was always beautiful and calm. Soft sandy beach right out front, if you throw on a mask and peek in the mangroves you will find what looked like an aquarium of tropical fish! The hosts are second to none, quick to respond and make sure you are well taken care of. We loved every moment of our stay at this property, I'd give it more than 5 stars if I could.

Incredible Location
The house was absolutely beautiful and right on a secluded beach. The beach is just steps from the door and the natural cove is an amazing spot for kids of all ages to play and kayaking in the ocean and up the channel was out of this world. The host was a pleasure to deal with and the house was spacious with incredible views. I will definitely be coming back.

Paradise Found
The views around the house were spectacular. The water was so calm and clear. Everyone enjoyed their time from our 7 year old to our 75 year old. The houses were perfect for multiple families and gave everyone their own space. We used the kayaks every day to explore the mangroves and even a couple small islands that are close. Judy was a huge help and very quick to help. We lost water one day but she had it back on within 30 minutes. The closest grocery store is about 40 minutes away, so plan accordingly. It had rained a lot before we got there and a little while we were there, so the bugs were really bad. Just bring some spray or stay in the ocean. Overall, an unreal location and will go back in a heartbeat if we can.

We could not have picked a better location for my 60th birthday. The house was so well appointed… we had everything we needed and more. The location is so private and secluded we felt like we were the only ones on the island! I can’t say enough great things about Judy and her team. Dean is the best host on the island. We went in March ‘23 with 2 of our adult (kids) and their boyfriend and girlfriend. It worked out so well with the 2 separate cottages. The views and location on the lazy River were fabulous. We needed to unplug but still watch March Madness and this was the perfect spot. We found the “secret” beach nearby which was fun and we even found to hammocks to put up down by the river under the arbor ? Or hut which topped it all off! There would only be two very small suggestions…..screens on sliders somehow in bedrooms so doors could be left open to hear the surf at night and maybe a deep cleaning detail, especially baths, (but I am a clean freak) and beach houses are so hard to be immaculate with the surrounding sand! We loved it and the host and manager were very helpful. The generator is a god send for those very windy nights that pop up. We have been to Exuma 3 times and this was our favorite spot by far! 5 star!

Perfect!
This place was amazing! The main house was absolute beautiful with 2 king size beds one over looking the ocean and the other over looking the channel and the ocean and the 3rd bedroom was a queen. The two cottages are identical with a king in one bedroom and in the other was 2 queen size beds. Main house has all the things you need in a kitchen and a laundry room. The pool was perfect for my grandchildren and for the adults to relax in. The property is right on a point which it allowed us to wade in the channel with my grandson 6,4 & 4, and the ocean to snorkel. Just remember you are their to relax with family or friends so make sure you order enough beverages and food as we didn’t rent a vehicle. We did do the excursion to see the pigs, cave, plane, iguanas and my favorite was swimming with the sharks. The owner of the property emailed me before, during and after to make sure we are having a great time. I recommend this property to families or groups of adults. Loren Smith

Paradise in Little Exuma
We had a fantastic vacation and thoroughly enjoyed the house and property. The views were amazing and we loved spending time by the lazy river. The house was well stocked, mattress & pillows were very comfortable. We had a group of 8 adults (4 couples) and had enough room for everyone and they were all very happy with the property. We hope to come back to the Blue Lagoon next year!

Paradise found!
We stayed at the Blue Lagoon as a collection of 3 families all with children 7 or under and had positively the most wonderful and memorable time! About the property … it’s a dream. The estate just checked every box… modern, clean, well appointed kitchen, comfy beds not to mention the pool, the views and the incredible blue lagoon where we spent most of our time (and felt very safe with so many kids cause it’s like max 3feet deep). The sand is powdery soft and there are so many beautiful sea treasures to find! We figured out how to use the lagoon as a lazy river when the tide was right which was super fun and we had all 5 kids (including 3 four year olds) standup paddle boarding by the end of the week. The team… Dean and his team (lead by Judy) are incredible. From day one the communication was great and we wanted for absolutely nothing. They went above and beyond! Some tips… read Dean’s document before you come. It’s a wealth of knowledge about what to do and will answer pretty much any question you have. Best additional advice I can give though is 1) Book this property if you are considering it. 2) Pack a checked bag with non-perishables as groceries are veryyy expensive. Have Judy’s team shop for perishables for you (it’s worth the fee). 3) Bring cash to avoid Cc fees. 4) Pack 2X the sunscreen you think you’ll need (you’ll be outside THAT much!) 5) Yes you REALLY can drink the house water here! 6) Savor every moment because it goes too quick!

Excellent Vacation
This was a vacation with our work crew. “Wow!” Is all I have to say after staying a week at Blue Lagoon. It’s hard to put into words all the beauty and relaxation we took in for the week. Dean’s property is amazing and we were taken care of the whole time by his wonderful property manager, Judy. We are leaving with so many wonderful memories. Exuma has our heart!

Beautiful Blue Lagoon
We just wrapped up a wonderful week at Blue Lagoon. The well appointed home is stunning with simply incredible ocean views! We spent our days floating in the gorgeous cove and exploring the quiet beaches nearby. Blue Lagoon is the perfect place to get away from it all and truly relax on vacation! The house manager, Judy, and her team were awesome in helping us with rental cars, in-home chefs and arranging boat excursions. Thank you, Dean, for being an amazing and responsive host!

Bahamas Christmas
We spent Christmas at the Blue Lagoon house and it will never be topped. Our group ranged in age from 3 to 73 and there was something for everyone to do.. floating down the lazy river, exploring tide pools on the breakers, snorkeling, fly fishing in the mangroves. Judy was helpful every step of the way, arranged all of our tours and dinner cooked at the house for 2 nights -- it was all perfect. Highly recommend this house!

Our best vacation ever
We were looking for a place in Little Exuma after talking to some friends about their recent trip. Then, I stumbled upon this place. We were 8 adults with kids ranging from the ages of 16-6 years old. It was perfect for our group. First of all, the views are breathtaking! the house is surrounded by the lagoon. There isn't one window that does not have a beautiful view. The kids just ran around all day exploring the surroundings. The adults went fishing, kayaking, and snorkeling. We even rented a jet ski that was delivered for the day. If you need a vacation to unplug and enjoy paradise...well, this is the place. Do not hesitate. I'm telling you do it, do it, do it! Thank you Dean and Judy! We will be back!

Amazing property!
My family and I absolutely loved our stay at this property! It was so secluded and we felt like we had our own private beach! The lagoon was amazing, as it protected from waves! The property had a lot of great amenities, and there was plenty of room for our group of 11. Judy was awesome at making sure we had everything we needed and we were able to quickly get ahold of her if we needed to! Overall my family and I loved this trip, and would love to come back in the future! P.S. we highly recommend sitting in the rocking chairs looking at the stars while listening to the waves, we saw multiple shooting stars!

One word - AMAZING
My husband and I celebrated my 40th birthday with six couples and we could not have picked a more perfect location to do so. At booking I was already in contact with Dean and this communication trickled over to the duration of our stay. Judy, the local house manager was amazing as well. From the moment you walk through the doors of the main house - seeing the crystal blue calm waters in the lagoon - to the fully stocked house (best house we have rented to date!)...this place literally has it all. During low tide you have your own personal lazy river, high tide it turns in to a lagoon. So much to do and explore just seconds from the front porch and beach areas. Our group stayed five nights and we did three house days and two boat days (rented boats at Minn's to do Elizabeth Harbour and Chat n' Chill then a customized trip to Thunderball Grotto with Robert's Island Adventures). The house has so much to offer we could have stayed there all five days! The kitchen and all it has to offer made our trip. We cooked every lunch on our house days and never went out to dinner once. Our time at Blue Lagoon is one for the books and I cannot wait to have a repeat trip!

Amazing Vacation Home
Words cannot describe how beautiful this home/property is. I took my family and the trip was amazing from the minute we walked through the door to the breath-taking views and the Lazy River right out the front of the house. There is so much to do on the property you really do not have to leave. There is kayaking, lounging in the river, the pool, walking the beaches, snorkeling at the reef in front of the house or simply lounging under the tiki hut. The Lazy River at high tide at night turns into a playground for sea critters as we saw stingrays, baby nurse sharks, large crabs and several species of fish! I rented a boat for the week which I docked quite easily in the Lazy River and there are several amazing islands/beaches nearby and very accessible. We boated to the Chat & Chill (45 min) and Santanas for lunch and dinner. Judy and her staff we’re awesome. Anything we needed arranged for us (transportation/excursions) they took care of and we’re very quick to answer all our questions. Dean the owner has been awesome from the day I booked the trip with answering questions and providing all the info we needed. This is an amazing property for a family or group of friends and I highly recommend!

It was a wonderful place to stay! The homes were comfy and lovely…the water was spectacular!!! The mosquitoes, flies and no see’ems were plentiful so bug spray is a must!!

Glorious in all ways!
Little Exuma may be off the beaten path, but there is a reason….Blue Lagoon and the surrounding beach and waters. Our family of seven had the most incredible week at Blue Lagoon. Plenty of room, beautiful decor, very comfy beds/linens and a stocked kitchen with everything you need for a week away. Dean, the owner, was very responsive. Judy, the house manager managed our boat rental, groceries, covid tests (and she could have arranged much more such as fishing, jet skis, etc)….but do make sure she stocks the home with the most delicious rum punch prior to your arrival! We dined at Tropic Breeze, Santana’s, Blu (was delicious, our fave…they had a photographer so we were able to get a professional family photo) and Rusty Anchor. We had a great day on the boat. Judy’s son was the Captain and we saw turtles, sting rays, star fish, threw the football on the sandbar, played volleyball at Chat n Chill and had lunch at Snappy Turtle. He and his first mate were amazing. Super fun people. Bugs were plentiful. Dean suggested mineral oil to protect and hand sanitizer to help with itching. We hope to return to Exuma very soon!

Heaven on Earth
If there is a Heaven on earth Blue Lagoon is it. This piece of paradise lives up to everything listed and more. It was the perfect spot for our family of fourteen to enjoy and make a lifetime of memories. We used the kayaks to explore, built sand castles, floated in a lazy River created by the tides, fish fry, jump in the pool and just relaxed and watched beautiful sunsets. If you have a large family or group you cannot go wrong with this property There are two good restaurants close by with great island vibes and food Tropical Breeze and Santanas - while at Santanas be sure and stop in Moms Bakery (we found her story in the coffee table book at the house). We had a photographer come and do family pictures at the house - we have done this many times but the setting of Blue Lagoon surpasses all others! Can’t wait to visit this property again!

Location perfection!
Amazing family experience! The water and beach were wonderful for our young grandchildren as well as our entire family! We swam, floated, caught fish (and cooked it for dinner), speared lobster, kayaked and all had plenty of quiet time for that beach time nap! The main house and the two guest cottages are well laid out and beautifully furnished. The heated pool was enjoyed by all ! Thank You for a memorable trip!

Do yourself a favor...
Treat your head and heart to a few days at this amazing property. Every direction you look is a postcard-worthy view. It is so beautiful that you'll be thinking beautiful thoughts within minutes of your arrival. The Host and Property manager are complete pros and made our stay perfect. Don't forget to take a short walk up to Tropic of Cancer Beach for some awesome Conch fritters and drinks. Also, don't just take my word for it. Here's what someone in our group wrote to some her friends. "It’s been an experience I’ll never forget. These views cannot be captured in a photograph. They surround us constantly. We are very comfortable with our daily routine lounging , swimming , floating, and laughter. Traveling home tomorrow. Nobody will ever know how I feel inside right now, the calm, the absence of all other people in the world. This place may not be for everyone, being so remote from all the typical vacation activities, but for a long time I’ll know inside the ease of no thoughts, no plans, and nowhere to be ." Do yourself a favor and book it.

No nicer place in all of Little Exuma
Where do I start? From breakfast on the front porch in the rocking chairs overlooking the ocean 10 feet away, the waves gently lapping in, to floating down the lazy river not a worry in the world, to walking Sugar beach feet sinking in the icing sugar sand, to the 180 turquoise sea views sitting in the main room, to falling asleep to the sound of the waves on the rocks. I could go on and on. This place is SPECTACULAR. Once you arrive you will never want to leave. The Covid madness at home fades away as you alternate between the beach, the pool, the lazy river, the shaded cabana and then back again. My only complaint is we didn't have enough time! After a week you are just settling in. We should have stayed longer! We will definitely be coming back ASAP. Book your stay now before I book up all the time!

Best Trip Ever
I celebrated my 40th birthday in the Exumas with friends and family that all traveled in from the states. I have no words to describe this property and our experience on this island except for AMAZING. The photos do not do this property justice. It is breathtaking from the minute you enter the property. There are things to do for all ages. The private sandbar and mangrove kayaking is such a benefit to have because the open ocean at other beaches/properties can be overwhelming, especially for kids. Judy the property manager was the best I've experienced. She is well known throughout the island and can handle all requests without skipping a beat. She was beyond accommodating. We highly recommend renting a boat for a day or 2 and touring the Exumas. There is so much to explore.

If you have dreamed of heaven
If you have dreamed of heaven then this is definitely the spot for you. Once you enter the doors of The Blue Lagoon you are transported to immediate relaxation. The 360•view the Sunrise and sunsets are spectacular. It offers every luxury available from the finest linens to the sharpest knives. I am a Chef and the Kitchen and Appliances offered me an amazing space with every utensil you could ask for. Anything you need you only have to ask Judy and her team. They are phenomenal. We loved Blue Lagoon so much We are booked again at the end of the month for a 60th birthday party. 14 to 16 people and I know is luxurious and comfortable spaces will accommodate all of us easily. From the cabana on its natural beach to being pushed by the gentle waters in the river to the ocean. And if you don’t feel like cooking, Judy and her team can provide you with amazing local Chefs. Of course it extra but every bite is crazy good. No detail is left unturned. I am already anticipating come back at the end of February. All I can truly say is heaven. Thank you Dean and Andrea for being such gracious hosts.

One in a Million!
Exuma is absolutely amazing! And Blue Lagoon is an incredible one in a million type of property. This was our 2nd trip to Exuma (in the past 4 months!) and we decided to bring our entire extended family (9 of us) to experience Exuma. The layout of the Blue Lagoon property is absolutely perfect for large and/or multiple families. The house is brand new and well stocked with everything you might need. The views are indescribable. And the private lagoon / lazy river is unlike anything you’ve ever experienced…definitely the main attraction! Can’t recommend this place highly enough.

Executive Retreat
First off, let me say this property was UNBELIEVABLE! Views for days. Judy was wonderful and made sure we had everything we needed. We were treated like royalty. This house would be perfect for family, friends or executive retreats. I would absolutely recommend this property and definitely go back. Paradise!

Amazing views and perfect for families!
This was our second trip to Exuma with our three children (ages 14, 11 and 9) and this time we came with friends and their 8 year old daughter. This property was perfect for us, plenty of room, everything we needed, very clean and comfortable and Judy the property manager made sure we had everything we needed! The house is set in a perfect location with a lagoon that gets waist high at the most during high tide which makes it perfect for children of all ages to play, swim, snorkel and explore! You can also go kayaking thru the mangrove or to the open ocean and visit other beaches besides the one right at your doorstep. We all had an amazing time and did not want to leave but will definitely be back to this amazing island and property!

Beyond Words!!! Nothing like this anywhere else in the world!!
I have never even seen anything like this property. I walked through the front door and it took my breath away. I am actually staying in a screensaver. It is brand new and the views simply take your breath away. I had made plans to visit all these other Cays by boat but quickly realized I had the best place in Exuma 10 yards from my doorstep. The house is sensationally designed and built and you have a massive sand bar on one side and a long soft beach on the other. The owners have thought of everything and clearly they spared no expense. The two cottages have two bedrooms, a living room, kitchen and two full baths and are exactly the same. One looks right on the sand bar and the other on Sugar Beach. Every room has their own AC and so comfortable. Beyond words...I never wanted to leave. I'll be back as soon as I can. I have been to this island many times and didn't know place like this existed. It is by far the most unique and special place I have ever seen.
